This makes sense, until there is more solid evidence of other people involved this would seem the most plausible. I also think there are two types of people who would try and venture around the lighthouse to get back to byron main beach. 1. The incredibly experienced fisherman/surfer kind of...

Yeah fair point. Also the lack of wifi handshakes on the walk to the beach supports he is alone

I quite like this idea it kind of makes sense. I have one question about the misadventure theory you may have an answer for. Why does he turn his GPS off? Is it because he is dissatisfied with the route it is giving him and he attempts to refresh it? I am curious if anyone has a better reason.

Maybe if he is alone he runs fast because he simply wants to get out of the darkness?

Interesting, I had it translated. It is an interesting theory

I think this is very interesting but also raises questions. His google maps account from all reports always has wake up hostel as the destination not the beach? Why then does he go and stop at the rec reserve? if you were to put the beach into your phone from cheeky monkeys I don't think the...

Some more points that I just keep coming back to. IMO... TH walked an incredibly dark and somewhat scary path with so much ease he even stopped to watch a comedy show because he was feeling comfortable. I believe the presence of women made him comfortable. TH knew right from the moment he...

From a newspaper article it appeared to be closer to where they came out onto the beach. However, this was a pretty crude diagram

I have this feeling too. It would be really helpful to know where TL is throughout this time period. As if we take the assumption TH meets foul play and is at a renowned drug/sex beach. It would be of interest to want to know where this women was at that time. She has direct relation to drug...

Something has puzzled me about the information brought to light in the documentary. And it has to do with the wifi handshake. I admit my knowledge of technology is limited so please help me if you can understand this. If we take the assumption that Theo meets someone(s) at the rec reserve and...

I am wondering how close do phones have to be to do this. Like is it metres or kms.

Found Deceased Australia - Thea Liddle, 42, Northern NSW, 31 Oct 2019

Just wondering does anyone know where thea is living in June 2019. Is she in the Byron area? As it seems she camps near tallows beach. Would be interesting to know if she is in town at this point.

I think you are right someone walked it around on low tide or climbed the rocks. I think it further points to the someone(s) being very familiar with the area. They felt comfortable in this place at night and around the rocks. As I said earlier Byron has many weirdos but not that many would feel...

Another point of interest. I believe the phone is moved around the lighthouse by the same person that walked with Theo. It seems as if the phone is taken on a route by a person that is firstly hardy and aware that if need be you can transverse the rocks (most likely a person who camps in the...

The what next is the most important question. But what is known is not much happens after the wifi handshake. Why make a wifi handshake? It seems TH knew the person he was with for sometime to ask for wifi assistance. Or that person demanded it to help TH access something (bank accounts). Or TH...

IMO you go there to take/buy drugs or to have sex sometimes both.

I agree I think it accounts for why a young man like Theo would follow someone down that path. If as his family say he was not heavily into drugs then sex seems more likely. It is also puts him in connection and in the vicinity of some very dangerous people so dangerous that one themselves is...

I wonder too. Was Theo using dating apps? These are often encrypted and an easy way to meet a very diverse crowd. I wonder too if Thea Liddle was using them? Either way maybe it was a meet at the rec reserve and follow with the promise of sex. The wifi hand shake is odd and suggests the need to...
