Thinking that you were mistaken about the survivorship of tenants in common, I went here http://www.rmlawgroup.com/Real/Topics/Taking_Title/index.htm to look it up. You're correct, but I thought it was kind of funny the way it is worded.

Good morning.
I'm sure you're correct about the survivorship rights. It wouldn't even matter if they were married or not.... if the property was titled in both names, as "tenancy by the entirety," it would automatically revert to the surviving party. Her parents can sue, I suppose, but by...
I can't even remember the names, now, of the people who were thought to be involved. Would be interesting to see if either of them lived in the Enon area. The place where they are looking is kind of ..... well, it's not a very good area, to put it nicely.
I lived in the area when Erica disappeared. The place they are looking is only about 20 minutes, maybe 1/2 hour, from where she lived.

Police searching Clark County site for Erica Baker remains
I know it doesnt seem important when a human life has been lost, but I have a cocker spaniel, too. When I had to make a sudden trip to the hospital, from the doctor's office, I was frantic because I had left him at home in his crate. It's hard, having pets when you live alone, with no family...
Hi, everyone.
I happened on this thread on the way to Nancy Cooper's, and have read your thoughtful discussion.
About the movie.... I just saw it Sunday afternoon, and I can't imagine that her part in it could have had anything to do with what happened to her. It was less than a minute...
I hate to give it up, too. Someone mentioned hide-and-seek, and that could account for the fact that they were on the floor. Not sure if we know how long she was looking for them, but they could have heard her calling and ducked down so she wouldn't see.
If this truly was an accident...
Even if it was an accident, wouldn't police check the car first? It's only common sense, given the number of kids who die in hot cars..... almost every day. jmo
It also says that the children were in their own driveway (in an unlocked car). It took TWO hours to find them after she reported them missing..... two hours to find them in their own driveway.
What am I missing?
I think I'd file a report even after the car was recovered. If it's really stolen (and, in this case, I agree that it wasn't), it could have been used in a robbery, to run drugs, to transport a body.... anything. It wouldn't hurt to have it on record that the car was out of my possession, and...
LOL. I really AM home sick; effects from my chemo the other day. Shepard Smith just said top of the hour for the presser. Hope I can stay awake that long.
Usually I do, but if I've been away from the computer for several hours, I don't have time to catch up completely. Usually, whatever I've missed is discussed later, anyway.
According to this story, the attorney has until noon to file her psych eval. Don't know what that has to do with bail, but they seem to be saying that the hearing won't be until he does that...... Not sure, what do y'all think?
