Why do you think it would be impossible for a 4 year old to lie? I have a 4 year old, and she *has* tried lying. ie. passing off a made up story for true. I've caught her every time because she never has plotted them well, but she has lied. Also, it would be very easy for someone to plant a...

You and Jade are right. My previous statement probably was not 100% accurate. Here's the back history I was basing my statement on: 1. Nancy reported missing 2. Body found 3. Prior to identification of body, LE announced if the body is NC, then Cary PD will perform investigation. If body...

I don't think this argument is relevant to the case at all. LE clearly has reason to believe the murder did not occur at that location, but rather was a dump site. If LE thought the murder occurred there, Wake Cnty LE would be handling the case. Also, I wanted to add that while I think most...

I *think* Carey Clarke. I might be spelling the first name wrong, though. Oops. It's "Carrie" according to JA affidavit.

I agree. I do think that most of the posters are clear that they are speculating, while a few state things as fact that are not. I also think that a couple of very active posters (on both sides) can only see the case through the tainted lens of their own experiences. I think that is...

I agree. He is not in sales; he does not score contracts. He may or may not have received a bonus, but the information about the bonus presented here was at least partially incorrect, and so that calls in to question the whole idea of the bonus.

It really bothers me that someone would post this woman's exact address where she lives right now. That is just wrong, IMO, and her current address has nothing to do with the case. . Would you consider deleting or editing your post?

I don't think that's likely. In this case, the person would be more likely to "hit and run". It would be unlikely for a driver to pick up the dead body and transport it elsewhere, being more likely to be caught. Same with a gang member initiation...why transport the body? Unlikely A rape...

I think they would claim "not random" based on very little evidence since they don't want people to panic. They might base it alone on the facts that there haven't been similar killings in the area, combined with the fact that she was going through an ugly divorce. Not enough to arrest...

I don't think it is safe to assume that at all. LE is seeking corroboration for BC's claim. So the flyer says what he said in the case that he is telling the truth. If he is lying, then she may or may not have been wearing that.

No, children cannot go to Canada on the mother's passport. There are very strict laws in place to prevent parents from kidapping their kids away from spouse. Normally, these laws help people in bad situation, but this case was an exception.

No blast here. I agree that some people are trying to figure out how BC could have faked stuff, rather than seeing anything as a possible alibi. While I think most likely BC was involved, there isn't really any documented evidence we know of yet to point to him, other than that it is usually...

After NC's body was found, but before it was identified, Wake Cnty police were in charge of the investigation, but the media reported that if the body turned out to be NC's, the CPD would take over. Perhaps if the location of death is not known, the police from the victim's home always take...

Jaydee, I am with you on withholding judgement until evidence is revealed. I am far from 100% certain that it was BC. However, if I had to bet on it, my $ would be on BC as the murderer. Just statistically, given their apparent circumstances (money issues being undisputed), BC has a HUGE...

Snipped from Jaydee0158: "What makes no sense to me it that if things were as bad as NC wanted her friends and parents to believe, why stick around? She is an educated woman. She was intelligent by all indications. She has a father that is in the business to help in such cases. Why did she stay...

I agree there would be something strange about Jessica not knowing Carrie's phone number. I feel like there has been a lot off in Jessica's comments, but I don't know if it's something "weird" or if there are just holes because she's been told by LE not to talk about certain things. I also...

OK. I do get that. For the kids' sake, I hope it wasn't him. For the sake possible future victims of a random killer, I hope it was BC... KWIM?

I'm wondering why everyone hopes he didn't do it? I don't know if he did it or not, but being someone who lives in the area, I sure hope it was him or someone else Nancy was involved with. The thought of a random guy who will never be caught out there ready to do it again scares the sh** out of me.

I actually agree with this. However, if it is true that she has a shopping addiction and drove them into the poorhouse (as he implies), and if it is true that he really was going to have to pay 2100 per month in childcare, plus tuition to private school for two, plus alimony (and I doubt his...

OK, I'm TOTALLY not defending BC against the murder charges. But it isn't hard to believe that it is possible that NC had a spending problem and spent more than they had. There is no reason at this point to think all the over-spend was due to BC and not NC. I know lots of people who do not...
