Death reported and being investigated.
James' dad says it's "unrelated" to his disappearance.

While it's in reply to a question Mina actually says here, "It's our belief she was KILLED in Kissimmee and that he moved her body after."
He doesn't say that it's their belief she died there. He specifically says killed.
Not posting that for location discussion, but for his language...
Looking at that picture, and knowing gated neighborhoods, especially seeing the cones...
My suspicion is visitors use the left entrance with the guard and residents use the right lane and have a clicker/remote to access.
I suspect it's still filmed, to some degree (at least car plates) but I...
Both the interviews with JS and the one with SS have been transcribed and posted. It may have been in the thread prior. I believe they were under spoiler blocks due to the length.
Anyone remember who did that? I'll hunt for it, but before someone does it again, we should see if the original...
I agree.
I think the "or" is key and it's only the first option that it CAN be a child under 5, CAN be all the various acts OR CAN be a movie involving a child, not that it means in this case it involved a child under 5.
Her linked in has been screenshotted and I believe added to the media thread.
Mom was originally going to take Madeline to school and then was tired and asked SS to take her. So she clearly wasn't away from home working.
I think the person replying meant that the OP's theory wouldn't fit about Maddie suddenly being killed in the car b/c SS dumping her school stuff in advance would have meant she was either already dead or he was planning in advance to kill her.
Or as SS returned back to the house via the school area where he was seen on camera, he saw someone walking the direction of the school that might be able to be used as "cover?"
Then he possibly fit the alleged (nearly an hour early) drop off time around that (fake) "Maddie" heading toward the...
Certainly an unusually small missing window, especially for that time of day/night.
Known to be in the house between 1:30-2 am and then reported missing to LE at 3 am AFTER the family conducted an initial search themselves.
Assuming the times are truly correct, at most she had a 90 minute...
To the person ( @Forest_Wood ) who posted at the end of the last thread about searching Stephan's phone # and finding a real estate listing, his linked in did show that he supposedly worked as a realtor a long time ago.

4. Parent pings / checks location on child's phone and finds it at home (speaking from experience one day when our child forgot their phone at home and we eventually pinged it after not hearing back about a scheduling during question, when normally they'd have at least responded at lunch time)
Many districts now do this - typically as professional development time - and Wednesdays seem to be common, even in other states.
Like all the science teachers across the school work together, etc. to be sure their curriculum is lining up, state standards are being covered adequately and such...
So then he could "leave" at the right time to supposedly "take Maddie to school?"
(Maybe thinking he'd give an excuse to Mom for why he went out earlier - "grab coffee" or something - in order to cover for disposing of her things in advance?)
Along with those good thoughts, I think it's possible he may also have been concerned about whether the laptop would be traceable and might lead to her body.
There's also the possibility of whether or not he knew her phone was left at home or if he may have thought that could also have been in...
There's another pretty active thread here from the other day. Perhaps they can be merged.

FYI there are pictures circulating (and video) from Madeline's 12th birthday also and, in some cases, getting conflated with 13th birthday pictures...
The 13th birthday cake is easily identifiable.
For those with kids in schools that use the PowerSchool app/system, you can set your notifications to immediately alert you if your child has been marked absent.
You can get it to send you an alert notification pop up via the app (and it will show up on your phone notification screen if you...
