I did not see this mentioned yet, Seth is hiring private investigators.

I see where the family house sold in February and is listed again (for more $$). I wonder if they sold to a company really quick because I don't see where it was listed, just that it sold. The foundation they started when one of the children died lists an address in WA state (possibly one of...
We have only heard from Bio mom and it sounds like she lost touch with the adoptive family many years ago. They are searching previous homes of adoptive family. So either the adoptive family isn't talking or their story is suspect. Hopefully the kids/young adults are somewhere safe.
If you search the missing discussion for missing children/teens in Bakersfield, you will see there are sooo many 11-18 year olds. It is not the town it used to be including a lot more crime. I suspect a lot START as runaways, but that doesn't mean they are not in danger.
I am not saying this is what happened here but what if these children were rambunctious/hard to handle kids and the adoptive parents had an "adoption disruption."

Honestly if I were a mom of a special needs 15 year old and I was innocent, I would send a picture where he looked a little younger/more vulnerable just to get awareness to the community for the urgency of the situation (woods, ponds, etc). If I were guilty I would report my 15 year old boy ran...
I agree! Adoptive parents may have hoped they can fly under the radar and never be asked where he was. Now it is easy to say he "ran away." I don't think there is any reason to excuse not EVER reporting him missing.
I do not have to send anything else other than a form signed by the school or doctor. I do think some states require that though. I currently have a 17yo foster and the bio mother called in a well check to the sheriff's department recently. The school resource officer (a sheriff) came to me to...
<modsnip> I gather he was adopted from foster care and was last seen by someone (school/family member/doctor) in 2022. I adopted from foster care and I am required to send the state a school letter or doctor's physical every year, but I don't know what would happen if I didn't. If I pulled him...
Seth (dad) has not come outright and said it, but he has alluded to suspecting his ex and step dad having something to do with Sebastian's disappearance. He has said "things don't add up", "he would never walk out in the dark especially without shoes." I think that is why mom and step dad are...
This could also be difference in personality between the parents. I sit in an IEP meeting for my son and my husband always talks about my son's strengths which is great. But I generally counter that positive with something that needs work even within that "strength" because I am a realist. I...
I am not sure how that works, but I am pretty sure by the way step dad talked that Sebastian was not allowed to wander around the neighborhood/construction area. He did not walk to school either.
His high school is to the right of this picture and this is the construction site they were referring to where the dogs tracked. The handlers said mud and walking in the water could throw off the scent. Interestingly enough, the dogs found another missing child less than 2 miles from here not...
Dad was at the vigil. Mom and step dad sent a statement with someone to read. The vigil was at Sebastian's school which is maybe a mile from their house.
I believe there are photos from Saturday and Sunday from BJs and Sam's Club or Costco. Also, there are people saying there is a picture/video from dinner Sunday night of mom and Sebastian at dinner at Texas Roadhouse. The restaurant to their house is a very short drive (a couple of miles) and...
