    VERDICT is IN!! #1

Sorry if this sounds stupid, but is there an HLN live feed? I don't have cable/dish, and I want to watch this on HLN. Or is there a different live link that is better? THANKS!!!

    They have a verdict!!!!!!!!!

That was quick! Just 10 1/2 hours of deliberation. I hope that means they all thought guilty right off the bat!

Legal Questions for our Verified Lawyers #4

I posted this question back on 6/15, in a fast moving thread, and I don't know if I ever got an answer: The defense has made many motions for mistrial along the way. Did I understand it correctly that the judge can put off deciding about a mistrial until he reads the verdict? Meaning that if...

2011.06.28 TRIAL Day Thirty (Afternoon Session)

I got the impression that they were trying to point out that it is "not normal" to be so "pleasant" while being locked up 23 hours a day. In other words...that she is insane. I could be wrong, and I just woke up, so not exactly up to speed.

2011.06.15 TRIAL Day Nineteen (Morning Session)

I have a question... The defense has made many motions for mistrial along the way. Did I understand it correctly that the judge can put off deciding about a mistrial until he reads the verdict? Meaning that if the verdict comes back as not guilty, he can then declare a mistrial? (Sorry if...

    2011.06.09 Sidebar (Trial Day Fourteen):

I think Casey's "illness" was perfectly timed -- Those pics will be the last thing on the jurors minds before they go to sleep tonight, and the first thing they will see tomorrow (or whenever court resumes.) I think Casey tried to take the focus off of Caylee's remains, and what she (Casey)...

I know this has been said, but her tissue is still dry! I would have gone through a roll of paper towels by now. :(

I think he counts the lights on the ceiling during sidebars, which helps him keep his composure. ;) Seriously, I don't know how he does it, he has a very calm demeanor. I would have lost it by now for sure.

I was thinking the same thing! Essentially, they are letting jb hang himself (or his client, rather) with his own rope! Also, just wanted to say that I'm getting so angry at jb for being so rude, it is really uncalled for, but Dr. Vass is certainly holding his own! :)
