    Photography questions (pre-digital era)

I've never shot with color infrared, only black and white and people look more ghostly and slightly fuzzy (not blurry). My guess is either he used a colored filter or bad processing, here's a link that will tell you all about it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infrared_photography

The flowered fabric in the background

I find it weird that no one has blood shot eyes, like they are stoned, doesn't a person's eyes turn red when they smoke pot? I think some of them were drugged in the photos.

    Photography questions (pre-digital era)

Hey, Donjeta, I did what you wrote and I see what you are talking about. My guess would be that different LE were scanning the images to post and just had different techniques of scanning them, maybe, the white boarders are where someone didn't crop all of the cover of the scanner , but, the...

The flowered fabric in the background

Thanks Donjeta for posting this. Anyone know if we should start threads for multiple pictures of the same person, ie the girl in the green shirt in front of the ugly sheet, there's two photos of her (I think, her hair is up then down) and the four shots of the brunette drinking with the guy?

    Photography questions (pre-digital era)

I would think that they cropped (cut out) parts of the images for obvious reasons, hence, white boarders and did full frame for any identifying information in the back ground?

    Photography questions (pre-digital era)

OH, and the black outline (around the photo) would be a full frame print, it was very popular as it showed every bit of the image, these would be printed by the person that shot it or a professional lab. The shape of the photos indicates 33mm color negative film, you would have to take slide...

    Photography questions (pre-digital era)

I agree about the slide requirement by magazines and again, if he were taking classes it would be required to learn the E6 process, to process Ektachrome slide film. (Kodachrome slide film could only be processed at Kodak-this was the preferred film of magazines, the quality is just so much...

    Photography questions (pre-digital era)

There are many techniques to do in the dark room as well as how you light a subject. For instance you could make a silhouette out line of the subject and when you expose the print (not the negative) to the light of the enlarger-the more light that hits the paper the darker it gets-his...

Looks close but Thomas, I assume, was a businessman and I can't imagine that someone professional would have the tattoos described. Though a lot can happen in 4 years. Maybe his capped front teeth could provide a link. And why would he be in Ohio? I'll work on this one, too.

I did notice the teeth, but, couldn't a person still have some teeth and dentures? I've never noticed the term "partials" in any dental descriptions. I just went to Porchlight and the description says "full set of dentures" Being it was the same county, he's probably been ruled out any way.

What do you all think about this possibility? http://doenetwork.org/hot/hotcase1563.html http://www.theyaremissed.org/ncma/gallery/ncmaprofile_all.php?A200301286W other than the UI had some teeth and that LE believes someone was involved. Also note that Leigh's birthday was the same day as he...
