I am in L.A. at the moment and it is a bit terrifying with the fires burning all around me. I have several friends who have had to evacuate. It seems that every few hours there is a new fire. Thanks for your thoughts. :-)

I couldn't agree with you more. And, because we will never have a legal means to assure people are ready to parent, our only tool is social ostracism when we see abuse. We should not be afraid to use it.

I am just so angry I can barely think of words to write. Just a travesty.
