I think it makes more sense than blindly shooting into a solid door. If someone knocked on my door that late at night I would have definitely looked out the small window to see who it was before I would open it at all. Jmo

Someone posted something last night about how it would have been easier for someone to go in through a window and it just reminded me of that picture. Maybe they shot the small window to try to unlock the door? Or maybe that's how her dad got shot, looking out it to see who was out there?

How long do the police and fbi usually remain at the crime scene? I talked to my sister today and she said when they drove by the Closs home yesterday there was still a number of police and fbi vehicles there.

Jennio-O Turkey Store is owned by Hormel. I worked there when I was younger and 3rd shift is for cleaning and sanitizing, it's been a long time but I'm sure that's still the process.

I lived up there and have been on Highway 8 more times than I can count, due to the casino there is always cars driving in both directions all hours of the night. Not heavy traffic but usually I would say I would see at least 10 cars either going to or coming from the direction of the casino...

I understand that's what the Sherriff said. But after looking at the dispatch logs I believe her father was alive upon arrival, and died soon after. I think when they saw him initially they thought he tried to kill himself. It's my opinion. I have had a lot of people quote the same thing...

Stoughton is not 2 hours away from barron it's closer to 4 or 5 hours away, its southern suburb of Madison. But I agree it is strange. I'm from northern Wisconsin (an hour north of Barron) and now live near Madison.
