I agree Erok... The Chelan County Sherriff seems perfectly happy to use this case as a re-election platform despite the fact that he knows nothing about it, has done nothing to help it and in general has only created negative press about it. Way to go Mike

I am as frustrated as anybody but I do get it. I believe LE knows WHO did it, I believe LE knows HOW they did it, I even believe LE my know WHY they did it. I also believe that everything they have is based on circumstantial evidece. You can get a conviction based on that but you better...

ummm no, that is his title with the Douglas County Sherrifs Department and has been for quite awhile.

just catching up but I believe his title is chief criminal investigator for Douglas County and I now see that has been clarified multiple times..... DOH!

reminds me of a story... I had to have a rather complicated medical procedure performed a few years ago and a relative encouraged me to have it done in Seattle. When I asked why he said "A+ Doctors dont pick a C+ town to practice in" Made sense, Not sure why it would be any different for LE.

pretty sure there is a PUD camera there. not 100% but pretty sure. Like I said there were some LE releases that flat out do not add up on the wireless side.

I have a real hard time with the whole "last ping" concept as well as the boat launch placement. There is obviously data LE is not sharing or they are misleading. I have said before that there is absolutely no way that a "ping" would tell you that MC was at the boat launch. No way, no how...
