CA CA - Mint Butterfield, 16, Bolinas, Believed to have run away to San Francisco, 21 Mar2024

I had the same thought. This might be another Emily Graeber case. Graeber ran away from a therapeutic boarding school in 2007, was returned with help from The Shawn Hornbeck Foundation and has come out as an adult with complaints of having escaped abuse at the school which she was then returned...

To all the people that cant fathom a 10 year old could not commit murder.

The title of the thread is to all the people who can't fathom a 10 year old child could not commit murder. Who are the people here who don't believe a 10 yr. old could commit murder? I've never seen even one. It's the parents people refuse to believe could do this even tho the evidence points...

Other than this one, Reddit and Facebook. It's all pretty much a BDI echo chamber.

To all the people that cant fathom a 10 year old could not commit murder.

I don't understand the title of this thread. Who are all of these supposed people who can't fathom a 10 yr. old committing murder? This folder could be renamed Burke Did It. No one seems to have a problem believing a little boy committing this murder. Who people refuse to believe could do this...

To all the people that cant fathom a 10 year old could not commit murder.

I'm not seeing where anyone has trouble believing this. Almost everyone who posts here believes Burke is guilty although the bulk of the evidence points to a parent.

To all the people that cant fathom a 10 year old could not commit murder.

Cases involving a parent killing a child over toileting accidents: Kimmy and Kristen MacDonald, ages 2 and 5. Many who researched the case believe the trigger for Jeffrey MacDonald's fatal rage to have been one of the little girls wetting his side of the bed. Afterward MacDonald staged the...

I could post stories about parents murdering their children all day.

Casey Anthony: Where The Truth Lies (Peacock Documentary) Discussion

This is a copy/paste of the peacock documentary filmmaker's interview with Variety magazine, if anyone's interested: Why did Casey Anthony feel like now was the right time to participate in a series like this? Casey says she chose to speak now because she’s been through 10 years of therapy and...

Casey Anthony: Where The Truth Lies (Peacock Documentary) Discussion

Is no one bothered by George referring to the SWEET SMELL OF HER SWEAT?

If you look at it logically it's very clear who did it!

According to the police report, Burke was crying as he was being led from the house that night. Of course he didn't question why the police were there, that's what kids who've been exposed to or who have experienced abuse do; they shut up, they don't ask, they hope it'll all go away. He told...

If you look at it logically it's very clear who did it!

There were no drag marks on JonBenet's body and the cord around her neck is in a perfect horizontal which is not the position the cord would've ended up in if she'd been dragged. Burke could easily have dragged her by an arm or leg. The books often referred to on R's shelf were conservative...

If you look at it logically it's very clear who did it!

Just wanted to jump in and clarify a few points: 1. There's no source for BR seeing a therapist prior to the homicide. 2. Chief Beckner said he hadn't seen BR's medical records but investigator Kolar claims only to have been denied access to Burke's records of post-homicide visits to a mental...

Lies point us to the truth #3

He hit JonBenet with a golf club once. He was 7. By all but one account it was an accident. She was clipped on her cheek which would fit with the scenario of her having walked into his back swing. I'm not seeing any particular pattern of "anger issues".

Casey Anthony: Where The Truth Lies (Peacock Documentary) Discussion

From what I remember about the trial, the defense hammered on two themes: 1. Caylee had multiple primary caretakers; George, Casey and Cindy. We need to be able to pin down enough of a timeline to be able to prove she was in the care of, specifically, Casey at the time of the incident. 2. The...

We don't know that they believed her. We only know they didn't think there was enough evidence to convict.

Casey Anthony: Where The Truth Lies (Peacock Documentary) Discussion

O.k., I'll take the hate for this. I think the jury was correct. I'm NOT necessarily saying I think Casey was innocent but with no way to be able to determine a cause of death, no way to be able to put together a reliable timeline, no eyewitnesses and no confession, I can't see how any jury was...

Casey Anthony: Where The Truth Lies (Peacock Documentary) Discussion

Interestingly, a forensic psychiatrist named Keith Ablow who was an occasional guest commentator during the trial, wrote a book shortly afterward based on his theory that the real killer was George Anthony. This was the only other time I can remember anyone suggesting this.

    Was Burke Involved? #6

Patsy's fibers are in the ligature knot. I mean, it's pretty open and shut.
