NY NY - Kelly Morrissey, 15, Lynbrook, 12 June 1984

Does anyone know if Robert Turley, convicted killer of a 12-year-old girl from Smithtown (December 11, 1984), was ever considered as a suspect in the disappearance of Theresa Fusco (November 1984) and Kelly Morrissey (June 1984)?

NY - Shooting in Locust Valley/Lattingtown

There was a high speed chase and shooting on Horse Hollow Road in Lattingtown on Monday night, July 1, around 10 PM. Does anyone have any info about this? Thanks!

Breaking news in the LISK case

Not sure if this info had been posted here previously, but I just found the January 30 edition of The Leader (our local newspaper) and this is a paragraph from the article, "Human Remains Found in Lattingtown" ... The Leader has received unconfirmed reports, and we emphasize that this has not...

Google maps shows the wrong property (the private house). That's why I passed by the wrong location last. I couldn't see the address b/c it was dark. Just passed by again and 480 is on the corner of Forest and Lattingtown Rd. It's a commercial office space.

Just passed by again and realized I looked at the wrong property last night. This address is actually a commercial space.

Breaking news in the LISK case

I passed by the location earlier. It was dark and I couldn't see much. Just looked like a private residence to me from the outside. I'll take another drive by tomorrow during daylight. I did however google the (212) phone number on the website and noticed a lot of references to exotic dancers...

Breaking news in the LISK case

I doubt that anyone driving around looking for a place to hide a body would even know about this area. It is so "off the beaten path" -- that's why I'm convinced this person had prior knowledge of the area. They may have done work here, or made a delivery, took note that is was desolate at night...

Breaking news in the LISK case

Lattingtown doesn't have its own zip code (or Post Office). Many Lattingtown residents sometimes use a Locust Valley address.

There are 2 horse farms that I pass when I ride my bike. I know who owns one of them, not sure about the other. There are no strip clubs in the immediate area that I know of, unless they are underground clubs. A strip club would never get approved by the governing bodies in these small towns or...

Breaking news in the LISK case

I just had another thought, and I'm not sure if it's relevant to this case, but I'll share it with the board anyhow. About 10 years ago a local plumber visited my home to quote a job. He started talking about how he had a police scanner and knew about several dead bodies of women that were...

Breaking news in the LISK case

Yes, I would say it's a bold move to bury a body here without someone noticing. I think the person that chose this location had to have some knowledge of the area. I don't know exactly where the bag containing the body was found, but there is an adjacent public parking lot to the right of Sheep...

There is one Piping Rock Country Club but it has 2 locations. The main club is located on Piping Rock Road, the beach club is located on Sheep Lane. The differences are: main club has a golf course, tennis courts while the beach club has beach facilities and a pool. Both are private and...

Breaking news in the LISK case

The five-acre beach club is in a separate location and is approx. 3 miles north of the main club. It is located on the Long Island Sound. The club is pretty but not lavish, and has an understated elegance in a quiet, natural setting. Although it's private, I often ride my bike through the...

Breaking news in the LISK case

I ride my bike on Sheep Lane frequently. It is a narrow road and two cars going in opposite directions can barely pass each other. At night the road is very dark. I doubt anyone not familiar with the area would even know about that road, let alone drive on it. Whenever I'm riding my bike I...
