True. Growing up in and near Chicago, I definitely have a different comfort level than someone who grew up in a rural town downstate. I've been all the places you "shouldn't go." While a visibly frightened lost tourist might be seen as an easy mark, if you are just going about your business...
Not any more than any other large urban area. That being said, LA doesn't even make the top 20 in US cities with the highest crime rate.

Respectfully, while that is what GP's family claims, and it seems reasonable to believe that they are being truthful, we don't know that. It has never been verified by phone records or the Laundries.
If they did nothing wrong, their consciences are fine... and we have no idea if they are religious, and if so, what their beliefs are, so we should probably leave god out of it.
As for the public... I don't honestly think how strangers on the internet feel about them has much effect on their...
A debit card can be tied to more than one acount at the same bank. When I use my debit card for a purchase, it defaults to my checking account, but I can go to the ATM and get money from either my checking or savings accounts.

The opinion of an angry, grieving father isn't evidence of wrongdoing, however. He may believe they were complicit, but neither he nor we have evidence of such at this time... and if he does, he hasn't shared it.
These days? Early 30's, usually.
I get where you are coming from, but with each subsequent generation, the launch date becomes older and older. My wife's grandmother got married at 17 and started having kids, as one did in pre WWII america. My mother got married at 21, as you did in the 70's...
Agreed... however, you claimed the case isnt over, in part, because the Laundries "have alot to answer for." As far as we are aware, they have nothing to answer for, legally, at present, however.
They will try to determine a time and cause of death, and issue a certificate for Brian. We have no evidence the Laundries did, or are suspected of doing by law enforcement, anything illegal.
