GUILTY FL - Abraham Shakespeare, 42, lottery winner, Polk County, 7 April 2009 #8

Thanks for posting. I hadn't seen this article and haven't been googling the case too often lately. The last line of the article says "no other arrests have been made"... I wonder if LE will ever be able to tie others to the murder and what looks like fraud, IMO. RIP Abraham. We're all...

    CO CO - Roger Ellison, 17, Cedaredge, 10 Feb 1981 #1

This case is probably not related to Roger's disappearance but it seems this man (and possibly his father) were responsible for several murders over the span of a couple of decades. It seems they murdered farm workers. I am not familiar with all the areas of CO, the story seems to point to...

If I think of anything of use or find anything, I'll be sure to pop in and let you know. Have you checked newspaper archives for that area?

FL - Abraham Shakespeare, 42, lottery winner, Polk County, 7 April 2009 #7

There were a lot of questionable transactions IMO. I have some faith that LE will get through some of it and I really want to believe they will find any offenders and they will meet justice someday. I may be too suspicious by nature but a few of the names seemed to keep appearing in some...

FL - Abraham Shakespeare, 42, lottery winner, Polk County, 7 April 2009 #7

Yeah, I have been here for a while (not day one, but near the start of the WS 'investigation'). I've had lots of theories from the beginning. Wanttohelp (IIRC) started sleuthing DDM (her name) and then, IIRC, we had the benefit of all the others who were able to sleuth out much, much more info...

Sorry for snipping you. I can't answer your question but perhaps a PM to the moderator might answer it?

MI MI - Tamara Greene, 27, Detroit, 30 April 2003

I feel the case should be public. IMO, if there is nothing to hide, why would anyone object to the case being public? Detroit is riddled with so many problems. There are many good people who live there, IMO. Kwame isn't the first mayor who disgraced the city, IMO.

Embarrassing cook-book misprint costs Australian publishers dear

OMG, I loved her! Gilda and Emily! I can totally see what you're saying. What a terrible mistake. In the day of 'politically correctness', I can't imagine everyone's expressions when they realized the mistake. :blushing:

    OK OK - Sharon Marshall, 20, multiple aliases, OKC, 1990 - ID'd as Suzanne Sevakis - #4

Cubby, I would think they would have had to have a passport to take Rhonda/Melissa to Germany. My folks got a "Family Passport" to take us to Europe and Mexico, and that was back in the 70's. I don't think they do "Family Passports" anymore, but the one we had was a typical passport but it...

Thanks justthinkin. Many years ago I knew a kid from a small midwest farm town and the circumstances of his adoption seemed a little 'off' (IMO). Since then, I've always been a little suspicious of the checks and balances involved in adoption 'back in the 70's'. JMO. In regards to FDF's...

I'm not trying to confuse or go off topic but wondered if black market adoption took place in the US in the 1970's? A thread here at WS about black market adoptions, seems to point at the possibility. Black Market Adoptions Of Babies - Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community Because...

NY - 100-year-old child molester to be freed

Well, I hope this time they keep him there for the rest of his life. (It says he got a 2 year sentence and as horrible as it sounds, I hope he doesn't live to be 103. :furious:)

From my perspective, the only "fact" is that DDM is sitting in jail (right?) and Abraham has left behind many mourners who wish the best for his survivors. Continued prayers for justice in the case of Abraham Shakespeare. Has DDM come forth with anymore letters to the press or have there been...

Matt Birkbeck, Thank you for continuing along with the quest for "Sharon's" identity. Also, thank you for continuing to update us, here at WS. We really appreciate it. (I'm speaking for myself but I believe that "we" all appreciate you!) J. Brannagh, Thank you so much for the side by...
