Except for toe socks-- my 11 year old daughter is obsessed with them! And there is a company called Little MissMatched that makes flip-flop socks, they have the big toe separated.... I have no idea how likely it is Hailey is aware of or into these, but my daughter certainly is, and they do...

O/T perhaps, but I have to defend my beloved pit bulls from being called bad dogs! In the hands of loving responsible owners you will never find a more loyal and affectionate breed! I do agree, however, that chained up, unsocialized and unsupervised in some shady character's back yard, a pit...

I don't think that''s a discrepancy- I think they mean if she was running away she WOULD have packed something, but she may not have to spend the night a few blocks away.....

Y'all are making me crave Mexican food now! But I have this fussy baby I can't put down, so unless one of you guys can deliver, I'm out of luck!

Re: the text message, my daughter is 11 and fairly new to texting, she sometimes uses "textspeak" but not always. If Hailey didn't have her own phone she may not have been an adept texter, I don't think we can assume anything from the content of the text message....

Wow, takes all morning to catch back up! I have a suggestion for CZ and BD that may help, if it's not already been done. I think BD needs to sit down with a trusted friend like CZ and write out for herself her own reference timeline. I think gentle prodding from CZ would help Billie focus...

I think most likely prior to that she had a layperson's faith that LDTs were pretty reliable, and now she knows first hand that there are reasons you can fail other than guilt.... Whether SA had any legitimate reason, or how far Billie would go in her own mind to ascribe some other reason to...

Actually, what I took from that article was that Billie was saying when she learned that he failed she was upset because she did have faith in the tests, hence he must be involved.... then she failed her test, and knowing herself that she wasn't involved, lost faith in the test, which leaves her...

I want to know more about the supposed narcotics, because in my mind there IS a huge difference between marijuana and meth, for example.... I have never heard a horror story about a mother trading her daughter to a drug dealer for pot, for example.... I am inclined to give Billie the benefit of...

I wonder of the reason SA left work was that he got there on auto-pilot then realized he was still high from the night before and couldn't function well enough to 'pass'....

BBM. In addition to the possibility of Ativan causing the flat affect, I can speak from my experience that as an introvert (in the true Myers-Briggs sense) it is nearly impossible for me to summon emotion when I am in the middle of a stressful event, as my brain processes things differently...

    TX - Jonathan Foster, 12, Houston, 24 Dec 2010 - Mona Nelson charged w/ Murder - #11

There's a scenario that just occurred to me: what if Mona WAS acting as an enforcer of sorts, but the objective was to frame DD for a heinous crime? Not that I'm looking for ways to explain her actions and lies, but it is a possible scenario I suppose. Some powerful drug honcho wants vengeance...

Totally OT, but is there a link or FAQ explaining some of your commonly used acronyms? I've figured many of them out, still lost about BBM tho....

Regarding the rolled carpet, I don't think it's been mentioned anywhere as a reality. IIRC, someone speculated that given MN's role as maintenance person for multiple apt complexes in the area, someone COULD have seen her disposing of a rolled up carpet and thought nothing of it.

I've been following this case as a lurker, woke up this morning and realized I had something to say, so here I am.... Many years ago, when my sister was killed in an accident, I read a book about grieving that stayed with me for one particular passage, and it's something I want to share with...
