    Identified! PA - Philadelphia - 'Boy in the Box' - 4UMPA - Feb'57 - Joseph Augustus Zarelli #4

My personal opinion is that she probably knew or at least suspected the boy in the news stories was Joseph but didn't feel safe telling anyone about it. I don't think it was just that she didn't want to get into trouble, I really believe she felt she might be in danger if she said anything. For...

There are a ton of Zarellis in the PA area, though. A number of them can be considered "prominent."

    Identified! PA - Philadelphia - 'Boy in the Box' - 4UMPA - Feb'57 #3 - Joseph Augustus Zarelli

If Joseph's parents never married, there won't be a marriage certificate with their names. If Joseph's parents weren't married and if he was adopted, the last name could be his father's, mother's, OR his adoptive parents. We won't know which. If there were apartment buildings at that 61st and...

    Identified! PA - Philadelphia - 'Boy in the Box' - 4UMPA - Feb'57 #3 - Joseph Augustus Zarelli

The way the police worded "siblings on both the mother's and father's side" I think it's highly likely that his parents did not marry, so there won't be a marriage license for them.

There is no birth certificate for Joseph available. Someone on this thread has implied they have seen the birth certificate, but it's clear that they haven't.

I think a reporter asked if the name on the birth certificate was exact, and the police spokesperson didn't answer directly, and then handed it over to the DNA expert who said the identification of the parents came from DNA and was therefore confirmed.

Is the scanned birth certificate actually out there, or is it just names on Ancestry? Because if it's just names, they could be incorrect.

Am I remembering wrong or did they mention early on that they got DNA from siblings who were already known to the police at the time? I wasn't able to have the sound on and my closed captioning may have been a little off.

That deadline wasn't in the paper reports filed, and per the Callie Starnes article today Gail said she didn't remember LE telling her about this 12 hour time limit. We discussed this quite a bit on WS at the time because there was a rumor (which has been proven true now that the call has been...

Personally, I'm so tired of repeatedly giving sincere, thought-out answers about specific things Matt and his lawyers have said and done that I couldn't possibly do it again. If anyone honestly wonders why people believe Matt deserves criticism, it's all very easy to find. It's all out there...

Someone feel free to correct my thinking here, since it's been a long time since math or physics had any relevance in my life :innocent: It depends on factors such as friction and the momentum of the Jeep. That rock is going to be sunken into the ground, at least a little. Most landscapers...

MP from the interview: Oy. I'd say it sounds awful because it's out of context, but I can't think of a context where it would sound okay. Edited to add this quote, because no, Matt, you did not come home from the conference. Unless he's claiming BCBS is lying?

I also want to know how long they had known. There was that info early on when Matt's lawyers immediately said it was an accident but the sheriff's office had not yet officially declared it as such, and when explaining how they knew it was an accident the lawyers mentioned Gail's GPS which...

BBM My mind isn't working today -- what do you mean about DN taking presents? You don't mean that DN showed up with presents and MP called LE on her for that, do you? I can't find the comment on WRCB's page, but I've heard WRCB deletes comments so maybe it's gone now.

This is all 100% personal speculation, not based on fact, all just my 2 cents in a devalued market: Personally, I think he was trying to push the mental illness thing for the inevitable divorce and custody battle. And I think he was so engrossed in that, in trying to "win" the divorce and...

Given Matt called LE when he saw Arlene on Ridge Rock (or W Road, I can't remember which, it was near the house) it wouldn't surprise me if he asked for police to be at the funeral. What surprises me is that they were there and in a relatively large number. Were six officers needed to keep...

It would be pretty odd for the sheriff to go on about how much investigations cost in tax dollars and then tell the taxpayers they have no right to know the result of said investigations. Not unheard of or even uncommon, but odd IMHO. I personally think the sheriff's comment several days ago...

For what it's worth, it's been reported in the media as of today so it's not just some off-site kerfluffle anymore. I have no idea if we can discuss it because it involves the dreaded, horrible, no-good, awful den of iniquity known as Facebook.
