Spygate was nothing, it was actually the Patriots filming a few feet from where they would have been allowed to film, this "scandal" was way overblown. The only reason the Pats were fined the way they were is because they were warned to film only in the designated spots and were caught a few...
I'll admit I've only followed this case on my periphery, but to me I'd say neither side is blameless. Of course I'm not privy to whats going on behind the scenes, but regardless, this is no more than just one big pissing contest between the agencies. On the eve of the biggest case any of them...
I'm not sure I follow on how he must have been seen in the area, I don't believe he would have to have been noticed in that area to know that area. He could easily know the area without the owner ever coming into contact with him. For starters we know he grew up near there, and it's common for...
Oh I agree with you 100%. My point, while maybe not well worded, was that there are some making him out to be as you said the village idiot and others believe he is some criminal mastermind. I don't believe he is either, I'd put him coming in around at your typical high functioning idiot that...
Yes it could be, but that obviously won't be the case here. JM is clearly not intelligent, maybe a bit below average. But with his job and multiple years in college there is absolutely no way he will be able to be declared not competent.
I'm not sure why this guys IQ even comes into the discussion. He is obviously not smart, I would say probably not even street wise. JM has been linked to 3 major crimes and looking at the particulars of each I don't see some criminal mastermind, in fact I see quite the opposite. The Fairfax...
The problem is some of you guys are saying LE went about it the wrong way without all the information to make such a call. For all we know there may have been a phone call for JM to come in and talk and he refused and stated he wouldn't be talking period. Just because Longo hasn't said one way...
Yeah as I said earlier VA ABC is very strict. It wouldn't surprise me for one second if they were strip Tempos liquor license, in fact I'm pretty much expecting that they will if HG did get a drink there.
I agree that they shouldn't, but VA ABC is notorious for being very tough. One local bar lost their license because of one fight within the establishment and many others here in Harrisonburg have lost theirs for underage drinking. That might be enough for the Tempo ownership to be very skittish.
First of all let me say welcome from someone right up the road from ya. I'm in Harrisonburg, born and raised all my life except for about a decade spent in the military. I've been to C'ville more times than I can count, so I have a pretty good knowledge of the lay of the land down there. As...
I think if the initial forensics came back empty that LE would have a very hard, next to impossible, time getting a second warrant. More likely if the forensics did come back I'd say it's more likely that it did show something and they decided to follow up on that.
It is crazy, but pretty common. We had one popular spot called The Pub shut down because after they officially "closed" at around 2 am they would let some patrons hang around with the staff and they would all drink until the crack of dawn. This went on for awhile until a waitress drove home...
Just remember this is a college town, a lot of times bars in those locations don't always follow the rules. I live in Harrisonburg, another college town, and only an hour away from Charlottesville and when I was younger and out partying I've been served alcohol on many occasions after 2 am...
Where was to shown where she wanted to be? Just because she told one or two of her friends that she was headed home or to a different party, does not mean thats what her intentions really were. She may not have wanted them to know where she was going if she were trying to meet or confront...
