I had a feeling they would do that so I save a screen shot of it. I don't think I'm allowed to post it here but I have it if anyone wants any info from it.

Just because these crimes were inadvertently discovered during the investigation of another crime are you suggesting that LE shoudln't do anything about them? There are VICTIMS of these crimes - they deserve to have the perpetrator of the crimes against them prosecuted just as Lauren does. I...

I would be very surprised if Buford puts up any evidence at all in the hearing. Any experienced criminal defense attorney knows that a preliminary hearing or commitment hearing is an opportunity to force the state to tip their hand and show what evidence they have without the defense being...

Yes, I saw that, I think we were posting at the same time. With LE being as tight-lipped as they have been, sometimes its hard to substantiate even the most reliable of rumors. Nothing wrong with rumors. I just don't always have a chance to read every post as carefully as possible and I guess...

[/B] That's exactly the way I read it too and it's bothered me all along that somewhere it was said that he didn't have a key to the storage room. I felt like the language in the warrant was very clear that McD DID have access to the LOCKED storage room. Glad to know now that was only...

Thank you for this very insightful and compassionate post. A simple click on the "Thank you" button didn't seem quite enough as someone (I believe it was Knox) posted earlier. Relationships are not necessariy easy, as anyone who has ever been in one can attest, lol. Finding the right person...

Yes, there was some discussion of it in some of the earlier threads and yes, it probably does violate some WS policy but even more importantly, he IS a victim in all of this and has been terribly devastated by what happened to Lauren. The age difference isn't that huge and it really isn't that odd.

Just read it, trying to catch up. I wish I had someting to add with regard to the burglaries. I too am very curious about the condoms and what caused LE to take an interest in them. I'd like to know what brought about the conversation wherein he told LE about being a virgin. I think the way...

Lauren started working at K & S in 2007 and started dating her boyfriend then. Not necessarily exclusive since that far back though.

I agree and I also think most people are pretty good about searching out and posting links for their sources so everyone else can see for themselves what was said in a particular article or from a particular source. From what I can tell, if you don't post a link for your source, someone will...

Local RUMOR, but from reliable rumor sources, says that he told the police he'd been hunting and that's where the scratches came from. Not stating this as fact though. FWIW

Unfortunately for McD, apparently MM/DD also has a rock solid alibi for the night he said he saw him on the balcony, allegedly where lots of people saw him. But back to where this started, I don't think he ever intended for her to be found out to be a murder victim. It would have worked much...

But we already know that MM/DD wasn't really a maintenance man and was really only a resident contact. He would have had no reason to go into that apartment. If the torso had been left there, the former tenant would have found it when he came back for the rest of his things. Maybe McD was...

BBM - McD's attorney acknowledged being told about the MM after his arrest also, not just his mother. McD distinctly stated on the day of his infamous interview that he heard nothing, knew nothing, etc. He was adamant. Of course WE didn't actually HEAR McD tell his attorney or his mother...

Absolutely. If the dismemberment was done in Lauren's apartment (which seems to be more likely than in any of the other apartments) the killer would have had to carry everything downstairs at some point anyway - the torso to apartment # 1 and the rest - who knows. I doubt that the torso would...

But what if it came out of the downstairs apartment's refrigerator? That apartment is closer to the garbage can than any other apartment there.

The same would be true for any knife used to cut someone. You may find DNA of the victim on the blade but not on the handle. Frequently, DNA is found at the point where the knife and blade meet. Blood can seep up under the handle and isn't thoroughly washed out although it may look clean to...
