    CO - Shanann Watts (34), Celeste"Cece" (3) and Bella (4), Frederick, 13 Aug 2018 *Arrest* #9

This is actually a good point. I'm thankful she did in this case, as I'm betting it ruined his plans for the cover up. If I put myself in the "friends" shoes, there is no way I'm calling the police after a couple of hours missing. Is there more to her story?

    Found Deceased CO - Shanann Watts (34), Celeste"Cece" (3) and Bella (4), Frederick, 13 Aug 2018 *Arrest* #6

This is the defense's attempt to prove SW's DNA is on the girls necks. CW admitted to strangling SW.

I thought I read he was fired Wed and the bodies were found Thurs. From the affidavit, a 2 day investigation (starting Aug 14 - Tues) revealed the affair. The confession happened on the 16th - Thursday. Did Anadarko find out something sooner?

    Found Deceased CO - Shanann Watts (34), Celeste"Cece" (3) and Bella (4), Frederick, 13 Aug 2018 *Arrest* #6

These threads move fast! Has anyone explained why he was fired on Wednesday, seemingly before it was known of his involvement?

GUILTY OF FIRST DEGREE MURDER**verdict watch** 3-5-2012

Wow! I don't agree with it but hopefully now the Fisher family feels some sense of closure. Now what trial are we following next?

GUILTY OF FIRST DEGREE MURDER**verdict watch** 3-5-2012

If LE were competent, yes. I really don't know the extent to which they tested the area. They may have only swabbed a blade of grass... After days of rain, they would have most likely needed to take a cross section of soil/sod 2-6 inches deep. An animal trained to detect the scent of blood...

GUILTY OF FIRST DEGREE MURDER**verdict watch** 3-5-2012

There are components of blood that can not be diluted. They are simply not soluble with water. No amount of water will remove all traces. The pressure or force of the water (+ gravity) may push these components partially through soil but these solid particles will become trapped once soil...

Yes, there was confusion in last conversation too. Blood != DNA . They react very differently when exposed to water.

Oh boy! Here is this topic again... (not being rude, just vividly remember talking about this last weekend) Question for you. Where would the blood go? And yes, I'm aware it rained at some point after the crime took place.

GUILTY OF FIRST DEGREE MURDER**verdict watch** 3-5-2012

One thing I've always wondered about that never gets mentioned... Didn't MF say she washed the pajamas once they got back to MF's house (before being confiscated by LE)? Or did I miss hear?

GUILTY OF FIRST DEGREE MURDER**verdict watch** 3-5-2012

Timeline info. Distances from point to point on JY's route. A calculator. Print results on medicine dropper, progress papers, ebay papers. Gas station attendants original description of JY. All corroborating witnesses from that King gas station. Cindy Beaver's testimony. Newspaper lady's testimony.

**Verdict Watch** 3-2-2012; deliberations started at 1016am

Not sure about that. Its been documented that the trip from Raleigh to Duffield following JY's route was approximately 376 miles. The only way JY runs out of gas before Duffield is if he gets less than 16.7 mpg average. Didn't some LE investigator testify that JY's FE got 20+ mpg? Or...

I don't follow your logic. Certainly highway mpg is better than city, but the numbers still don't add up. I'm actually quite impressed with the 20mpg. I once owned a 2005 Explorer and never averaged close to that. I agree with you though, I hope there are smart people on jury.

**Verdict Watch** 3-2-2012; deliberations started at 1016am

The problem for me all along has been the trip timeline and gas. DT did an excellent job of breaking down the math and making it easy for a juror to understand IMO. 1) To believe he made the trip from Raleigh to Hillsville to Raleigh to King JY would of had to get way better than 20 mpg or...

State vs. Jason Lynn Young 03-01-12 (P.M. session: PT closing arguments)

Why do people murder people? I don't know, but it happens between complete strangers all the time? When I was kid, someone broke in to my grandma's house and raped and beat her. No theft took place, just the rape and beating. Who would beat up and rape a 67 year old grandma? We want to ask...
