    NO BAIL! Australia - Allison Baden-Clay, Brisbane QLD, 19 April 2012 -#29

No I have not heard that she was in fear of her life , I did however read somewhere , now it may have been on one of the earlier threads or The Sunday Mail that she had gone into hiding. I was looking for the facts on that , given that you know her and sometimes so much of what you read in the...

They wanted permission to shave a portion of the accused's face so they could examine the scratches underneath the beard. These were explained by his defence to be from shaving but were not consistent with this according to the prosecution.

HeartRuledHead, has TM been able to return to her usual activities or is she still in hiding ? Is she able to work ? Is she living in fear of her life ?

Is anybody with a legal mind able to shed more light on legal immunity ? It is just that my understanding of it is that it is something that I would have thought is rarely offered and would only be offered in limited situations. I would think that the DPP would want to be quite certain that the...

HeartRuledHead , given that you say you are close to TM , are you able to enlighten us as to your perspective on the type of person TM is, what sort of person is going to be presented in court as crown witness?

Not impossible Grannie, but a bit of a "the dog ate my homework excuse". Should follow on nicely from the vicious caterpillar bite . IMO

I am waiting for the committal hearing when the barrister tells the court , "well it could have been the neighbours' cat , who having jumped through an open bedroom window, knocked the iPhone off charge and pawed the device and in doing so just happened to speed dial NBC by chance"

Summer Breeze , under the Australian taxation system there can be advantages to owning a home and not living in it yourself , ie , have it as an investment property and rent it to somebody else and then rent another house to live in yourself. I had looked at a property ownership database just...

RE the suggestion of sedatives , they may not have been necessary on the night in question , after all , wasn't it the night following the cross country . Most schools make children walk the track if they don't run it and I'm sure these kids were more than likely to have had a run. The point I...

    ARREST!!! Australia - Allison Baden-Clay, Brisbane QLD, 19 April 2012 -#23

I was always of the belief that more people would be charged , based on what Paul Tully had alluded to , and the talk of there being 2 cars allegedly seen near Anstead.

An auctioneer i know that works for the government has a saying when he sees people shaking their heads in relation to a bid ..."yes means no and no means yes" I'm tending to apply that here. Ainsworth isn't about to give the game up here IMO

    ARREST!!! Australia - Allison Baden-Clay, Brisbane QLD, 19 April 2012 -#23

Thanks for the alert CIB , I had googled about ten minutes ago and not found anything new. Article seems to contradict what was said in news bulletins last night . The news bulletins said police were not making more arrests, but this arcticle alludes to the possibility of more arrests.

Yes I guess so Nads, not sure what to make of the accused or his family. The family of the victim seem to be very easy to read, they seem very loving and caring ... very genuine people experiencing real grief and sadness.

    ARREST!!! Australia - Allison Baden-Clay, Brisbane QLD, 19 April 2012 -#23

Very good perspective put forward here. If you were in a position of being in a domestic situation that went too far, even if your intentions were not good to begin with, surely you would have to fess up early and attempt to get your charge downgraded to manslughter. This to my mind is part of...

    ARREST!!! Australia - Allison Baden-Clay, Brisbane QLD, 19 April 2012 -#23

Yes everyone is different I guess based on their own life circumstances. I just know that I am a similar age to GBC , and that my mother has very good intuition and no matter how good I presented my side of the story if I were in this position (i.e same set of facts ...wife found in creek bed...

    ARREST!!! Australia - Allison Baden-Clay, Brisbane QLD, 19 April 2012 -#23

Agree with you on that Case Closed. I can tell you that if my mother,( who in her later working life worked at a police station), were to think that I had any involvement in the disapearance of a spouse ,she would disown me and urge me to hand myself in. Now I don't know what EBC felt towards...

    ARREST!!! Australia - Allison Baden-Clay, Brisbane QLD, 19 April 2012 -#23

Plenty I don't feel he will make bail. I don't have the brief of evidence in front of me and I am guessing that nor does anyone on this forum. I don't disagree with the point you made in respect of what we actually know. But if were possible to covnvict on the basis of what has been alluded to...
