Canada - Anthony Raine, 17 mos, found dead, Edmonton, April 2017 *Arrests*

I hear ya. It goes against everything natural. Parents are supposed to protect their children, not hurt them. It's so difficult to comprehend. I have read a few articles over the years by Paula Simon's about how Alberta continually fails to protect children in the care of the province, but this...

Canada - Anthony Raine, 17 mos, found dead, Edmonton, April 2017 *Arrests*

Of course it doesn't. In no way was I insinuating that. I simply think that understanding historical context is important.

Canada - Anthony Raine, 17 mos, found dead, Edmonton, April 2017 *Arrests*

Considering this is a Canadian case, making assumptions based on American social services practices seems unwarranted. There is usually plenty of money that can be accessed for Indigenous students to pursue post secondary studies in Canada, and, in degrees such as social work, a certain number...

Canada - Anthony Raine, 17 mos, found dead, Edmonton, April 2017 *Arrests*

Residential schools, & colonialism in general, have caused a well documented phenomenon of intergenerational trauma in Indigenous communities throughout Canada.

Princess Blue's autopsy report and dentals

I have no adult teeth underneath of some of my back teeth, so they will always remain baby teeth. This was discovered by dental x-rays. I did, however, have wisdom teeth & a painful surgery to get them out. Like most things, there's so much variance between individuals.

When you zoom up I can see that person wearing a chunky chain necklace; something that is definitely a more masculine accessory.

You could be right. I was thinking that the shoes released by EPS had white soles, but it doesn't mean he was wearing those shoes at this point.

I see the soles of the shoes now! Excellent eye. Doesn't it seem odd to cover a child up with a heavy jean blanket when they are almost two? *Edit: at first I saw a patchwork jean quilt, but not I can see the blue snowsuit & a child. The lightening of the photo helps a bunch

Canada - Anthony Raine, 17 mos, found dead, Edmonton, April 2017 *Arrests*

At first I thought it was two men! When I look closely I can see some brown strands of hair coming across the women's grey hood. On another note --> From what I can know, sketches take time to create. Unfortunately, it is probably because of injuries to the face that one has not been released.

Canada - Anthony Raine, 17 mos, found dead, Edmonton, April 2017 *Arrests*

My thoughts -We have been having snow storms in Alberta (or "third winter" as I like to say) over the past 10 days, on and off, so the snowsuit isn't totally strange. -The police have clarified that the clothes were found with the boy, NOT on him -The stroller appears to be empty in those...

    Woman In Swimsuit Smokin' Ciggie

Awesome! According to these logos, I do think it could have been a Best Western though, if we were still interested in determining his whereabouts. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:LogosBestWestern.png

Possible Suspects on the Highway of Tears

I too think that racism is an issue among all police forces in Canada. To begin with, the country is founded on colonialism, which is, in itself, violent and degrading to indigenous peoples, and especially to Indigenous females. In pre-contact times, women in Indigenous societies were often in...

Photos of the Couple - *WARNING: Graphic Images*

That is exactly what I was thinking! Also, it was said that the couple had olive complexions. Many Quebecois have a degree of First Nations or Metis heritage. Perhaps this was misinterpreted as contributing to the olive tone? On another note, I came across several discussions/articles saying...
