I'm not sold on them meaning that because the word "forced" would have been a better word to use for him putting her into his truck and refusing to release her. The word "carried", imo, states specifically how she got in the truck. They didn't use the words push, shoved, forced or persuaded...

The description of how LP and Mickey were taken are different. I think the difference between LP being "persuaded or forced" is a very different description of Mickey being "carried." I'm not sure what I think about that except that it's significant. My first thought would be that she was...

I know someone who was being stupid and tried to stab a butcher knife into a wall. The knife stopped, of course, but his hand kept going (down the blade) until it reached the wall. Major hand damage. I've wondered if something similar happened to BL. If he were trying to stab anything or anyone...

Regarding no information to the public from LE...everyone seems pretty frustrated about the lack of information from news outlets and LE. I'm wondering how effective letters to the editors of the paper would be. If the local papers get a lot of letters from the public, then it seems they would...

Thanks for the link! I didn't realize you had to be certified just to do the sketches. I'm solidly in a career and was more thinking it would be a volunteer sort of thing. I'm surprised you have to be certified, too. Most of the sketches I see are awful. I'd never have thought they were from...

I would like to do sketches from witnesses but have no idea how to go about doing that. Does anyone know how to go about that? I wouldn't think they have someone on staff just for that. I've always wondered about that but really am now as I'm itching for one to be released.

Vermilion parish, adjacent on the southwest side of Lafayette parish, has a public dump/landfill. I wonder if it's been checked. Lafayette parish doesn't have a public landfill. Neither does Iberia parish.

I've only posted a few times but have steadily been reading as much as I can. I don't know if it would have anything to do with this case, but a bad batch of bath salts seems to be in town. That being said, I think the "bath salt community" would be worth looking into...

With all these threads, I'm not sure if this has been brought up but I'm not convinced the truck is traveling forward. It could be in reverse, especially given the angle it's at. I don't think LE said whether it was traveling forward or backwards. If in reverse, then that could account for her...

Good point. I agree that the tire is not in contact with the ground. Also, sorry if I offended posting another truck edit. Just want Mickey to be found like everyone else!

I think it's a shadow cast by that diamond shaped road sign. The light coming from the left hand side of the image would be the light source.

Ok, lemme see if this works. The first one should be to the midtones of the photo dodged. The second one should be the exposure of the camera lens increased by +1.75.

Hi! First post! I'm a local and walk in the st. streets area just about every day. I've participated in one search day and plan to go tomorrow now that I'm off work. It looks to me like the truck picture does show her getting run over. The darkest shadow by the wheel should be directly...
