GUILTY TX - Melissa Sowders, 26, Harris County, 26 December 2013

Prayers and positive thoughts going to Melissa and her family. If the divorce petition has been filed, I wonder if and when a custody hearing would take place. If sometime in the near future, this is starting to make sense.

    CA CA - Bob Harrod, 81, Orange County, 27 July 2009 - #14

You've described my two grandmas to a "T"! That explains where I get my sailor mouth from I suppose.

I plan on catching up! In between two jobs and sick mother, but I will! That's the least I can do after some of WS' most talented sleuthed tirelessly and commitedly to bring Mickey home! Their support of our hometown sweetheart warmed my soul more than I could have ever hoped for!

Thanks for the warm welcome! I haven't frequented WS much since Mickey Schunick's case, mainly because it is hard to follow cases that had been going on for some time, but Bob got me and I plan to start reviewing all the details! I think it's bienvenue, but I'm from Louisiana so I'm only...

Way to go for being a rebel on that forum! If it makes you feel any better, I just heard of Bobs case through ID and saw right through that bunch. Despicable is right!

I concur! I also thought #6 validated my point of the daughters greed (if that was indeed her who posted) - how is the point about his wife not getting a reward relevant to her post or plea to help find her father? To me, it just reiterates that the new wife having access to their assets...

    CA CA - Bob Harrod, 81, Orange County, 27 July 2009 - #14

I just finished watching the ID show about Bob. I wish I had come across his case earlier as his story broke my heart. Without knowing much about the case, I don't have much to offer except what I learned from ID. Is it just me, or did the daughters seem like highly probable suspects? In my...

NBC Dateline: Missing Mickey 29 Jan 2013

Totally! I wouldn't know what that would feel like, but I could feel her shock and astonishment. I thought they could have been a little more gentler with her. It seemed like they were trying to calm her down by raising their voices over her cries, which doesn't seem like it would be...

NBC Dateline: Missing Mickey 29 Jan 2013

I know it was Mickey's story featured on Dateline, but I really wish they would have mentioned Lisa Pate's case. It would have been more interesting to learn more about her and her boys rather than Rocky McGee.

VICTIM - Mickey Shunick, 21, of Lafayette, LA (Theories)

Thanks so much for alerting us to the Dateline special! I can't wait to watch it and its lifting my spirits knowing that MS is still being acknowledged as it has been pretty quiet here in Laffy. Hope all is well!

Brandon Scott Lavergne -- Post Conviction

Sure, let them overturn his case, let him out! He'll finally get that death sentence he plead against in the first place. By a jury or Mickey's new army! Dumb serial killer!

Brandon Scott Lavergne - Guilty Plea and LWOP

Did you make it through the storm ok? It stayed pretty calm here, but I think you are further South and closer to Vermillion Bay which leads to the Gulf. At any rate, hope everyone made out ok!

Brandon Scott Lavergne - Guilty Plea and LWOP

This is so heart wrenching! I know this is ignorant, but while reading your post, I was thinking to myself how such atrocities happen in big cities. My jaw dropped when I read Lafayette. I consider myself to be fairly intuitive and street smart, so I have to think maybe I was just a bit naive...

Brandon Scott Lavergne - Guilty Plea and LWOP

I think you're thinking of the research that describes the mother-infant relationships and the kinds of attachment disorders that result from it. Those studies then go on to describe how the attachment disorders affect the child's cognitive, social and emotional capabilities...

Brandon Scott Lavergne - Guilty Plea and LWOP

Thanks for all of the warm wishes and concern! It's eerie quiet here in Laffy at the moment. The wind gusts were pretty intense since 4pm but then now it's been kind of quiet. I believe Isaac should be passing in between Baton Rouge and Lafayette in an hour or so. In between would be Whiskey...

New Developments and General Discussion, 08/10/2012

I know this is probably to far from where Mickey was found, but if you look at the entrance into the cemetery from Oakdale and go west, to the left, there is another entrance less noticeable almost like its a dirt road. Follow those tracks down to where it almost dead ends into some trees...
