That is from the papers that Adam’s attorney filed for the motion date that was postponed. She never heard or read the papers that were prepared for last Wednesday’s hearing which was the true motion date. She refused to hear those or even allow them to be entered into the record since the...
The Shacknai’s never treated Rebecca badly and there is nothing to back that up. If she were treated so badly, she could have left the mansion and gone back to her 9 -5 job in Scottsdale at anytime. She did not.
The depositions filed in the case, however show what type of woman Rebecca Zahau...
That was a tentative ruling, made before she even looked over any of Adam’s motions. There was no motion presented on Wednesday because the Zahaus took money from Adam’s insurance company to settle the case. Therefore, the “tentative” ruling is moot. There was nothing to rule on.
I will still...
No, Adam Shacknai did not settle. In fact, the Zahaus got very little from the insurance settlement. Probably not much more than the 100k they took from Nina Roman’s insurance company - when they knew she had done nothing wrong.
In my opinion, that is what the Zahaus wished had happened.
IMO...
It is obvious to me that Judge Bacall understands how DNA and fingerprints work just as little as the jury does. She obviously also does not understand that a women in a highly emotional state, having a breakdown, and about to commit suicide would not be ‘comfortable painting numbs and letters.”...
Hi Laughing, here are a few links...
“There is no legal judgement, which is how it should be, saying that Mr. Shacknai did anything wrong. It’s as if that never happened," said Seth Weisburst, Shacknai's lawyer in the lawsuit. Even so, Shacknai is angry with the outcome, because it deprives...
The show Breaking Homicide also did a reenactment of the hanging. They showed just how easily Rebecca Zahau tied herself up and went over that railing. The stunt woman even hit her head in EXACTLY the same places Rebecca did when she slid down that balcony. EXACTLY.
Adam certainly isn’t paranoid. In court depositions, the names of two internet trolls are stated that interfered with the case by filing false police reports at the urging of a third internet troll. They supposedly gave him information about a group that was out to get him - no matter if there...
Now that the Zahaus have settled with insurance companies twice now -once with Max’s aunt whom they knew did nothing - “Justice for Rebecca” seems further and further away from the reality of why they have pursued this all along.
Adam says in his interview that the Judge was part of an...
The Zahaus and Greer bailed before Adam could file in Appeals Court. They knew the chances of getting a Judge as incompetent and biased as Katherine Bacall was minisule and they would not prevail, IMO.
As for a criminal trial, the evidence Greer invented would never stand up to the standards...
I don’t agree with you, Tortoise. A verdict cannot remain when the case is dismissed. When a case is dismissed, it is if it never happened.
I also don’t agree abou the SDSO investigation and I do happen to be on the side of transparent justice. With all of the talk of how corrupt the SDSO is...
Here is a very informative radio interview with Adam Shacknai, where he talks about how the Zahaus and Greer settled to make money (also remember that Greer took 100k from Nina Romano’s insurance company when he KNEW she had nothing to do with Rebecca’s death).
“Shacknai and Larson discussed...
Do you have a link that show’s that close to 90% of the investigation was conducted by SDSO and the ME? With four agencies working on the case, that seems unlikely to me.
Thanks.
They weren’t boaters knots. They were simple knots that even birds and monkeys can tie.
The SDSO and three other agencies investigated the death throughly - and then had a review that involved three agencies after the Civil trial. They and the Medical Examier stand by the suicide ruling.
I agree, Ranch. 100%.
Here is more from Adam Shacknai:
“Shacknai reiterated that law enforcement ruled the woman’s death a suicide, and had harsh words for the civil court system regarding the trial and Wednesday’s result
Shacknai reiterated that law enforcement ruled the woman’s death a...
This is all a dog and pony show by Greer. He is going to take the money and run. He knows that the Medical Examiner just stated that he was convinced it was a suicide. Greer also knows his fantasy evidence would never stand up to scrutiny in a Criminal case, and that those who understand DNA and...
No, the hearing was suppose to be over a week ago, but Judge Bacall postponed it until TODAY. That is covered in all of the news reports you and I have posted and is available here as well:
Civil - Tentative Rulings
Case# 2013-00075418
No Shacknai ever offered the Zahaus a settlement. In...
The man who became the focus of the civil trial, Adam Shacknai, brother of Zahau’s then-boyfriend Jonah Shacknai , said outside court that his insurance company “did an end-around” on him, and said the settlement was for far less — “a pittance” — than the $5.1 million jury award...
