Apologies for the question if it's already been asked/answered, but there's a lot to get through!
Has it been established in which NB was walking when the second witness saw her at 9.10am - towards Rowanwater or back to Allotment Lane?
Ok, so, is it the perceived understanding that at 9.10am, after being spotted by the second witness along the path near upper field, at some point Nicola doubled back to the bench that she was seen at 8.53pm?
So, just to clear a few things up (and this is based upon a map where his movements are traced with times on), he leaves The Lamb at 19.16, heads in a direction past the E&C last seen at 19.21, and then is caught by CCTV returning in the opposite direction with a white bag in his hand @19.37...
A very sad story. It would seem all the delays to get the case going properly hampered the investigation for the very start.
The woman with her entering the shopping centre must have a cold heart or must be in some way compromised if she’s not come forward yet to police at this late stage.
I...
My 2p of speculation...
I haven't a clue.
Too many variables and without any actual CCTV footage to judge her body language during the last moments she was seen and her potential interactions with others.
Perhaps the CCTV footage will follow shortly...
Thinking of two cases when the last person/people to 'see them' were the killers: Ian Huntley and Nathan Matthews/Shauna Hoare.
For GP not to be seen after the last 'reported' sighting is telling IMO
A big thanks to Clio!
Just to go over the 'row out' comment by the pros qc, it's only an issue here is because it is a homograph (two words which the same spelling but different pronunciation), and the context of the courtroom makes its interpretation even more difficult, if you are unfamiliar...
The amount of lies and conflicting, changing stories means that the jury can assume that they're not telling the truth and therefore they'll be found guilty of murder.
Somebody please tell me that this can happen...
To row out = a boating metaphor/idiom
To row out to safety
The pros is implying that NM's 'masterful plan' has Shauna at a safe enough distance from all of NM's actions and therefore can't be implicated.
Well, that's how I understand it!
His entire plan revolves around SH spending a minimum of 20 minutes smoking a cigarette. If she's any quicker, she will have rumbled his kidnap 'plan'...
Please could somebody post a link to the Facebook page that a few posters are referring to? Apologies if this goes against the rules and obviously delete if not warranted
