This is bothering me...I have read that MR could not wake Dylan up the next morning, and also that he told Dylan he had to run some errands to which Dylan said 'Ok I understand'. Which one is it????

Have LE checked the roads between the airport and MR's house, or between the last stop at Walmart and the house. I'm thinking he never made it to MR's house, there is just no one to back that up.

Off topic but just read this on VIC Police website: http://www.vicpolicenews.com.au/more-news/10921-police-arrest-seven-for-11-in-western-suburbs.html I'm horrified at the ages of these kids next to armed robbery offences. My god, what is happening here

Good question. Perhaps AW girlfriend? I dunno, these guys seem like braggers, at least SH and TB anyway. Surprised by AW arrest, but then it was his house wasn't it.

Does anyone remember the sentencing questionnaire that was in the herald sun about a year or so ago? I filled one out and remember thinking as I was going through it - ok that seems to be an adequate sentence for that crime, so what am I complaining about huh. But I found it so frustrating as I...

You are right, it is the framework which needs changing. However, the decisions the board makes affects every single one of us. How is this different to a company CEO? All Im saying is there needs to be accountability. If they are too lenient, which is quantifiable by the number of repeat...

One thing I forgot to mention that I also found was this: Appeals There is no formal avenue of appeal against a decision of the Board. However prisoners may request a review of any decision of the Board. This may be done in writing (by the prisoner or by a person on behalf of the prisoner), or...

Ok some interesting things about the Parole Board of Victoria: As an independent statutory body, the Board’s decisions are free from political or bureaucratic influence. Membership of the Board includes: four judges of the Supreme Court of Victoria two judges and two retired judges of...

That is horrific. What kind of guidelines do the parole board have to follow I wonder. If they are so convinced that these criminals are rehabilitated there should be consequences to the board if they reoffend. Who is in charge here? Does anyone take responsibility for making the wrong decision...

With all due respect to you anareye, I don't have the perception of prison being a place to 'fix' perpetrators of crime but a place to punish them for their wrongdoing. If they want to be fixed they should seek help before they commit criminal acts. There are plenty of people in society who had...

I was just about to post the same link. I live very close to this street and have heard there has been a lot of police at a house in Fongeo dr including a forensics van. Channel 10 helicopter has been hovering over the scene on and off since late this morning. They were just back about 20 mins...

OT but just wondering if anyone sees DNA being used increasingly more like fingerprints in the future. I went through an immigration process for a Spouse visa to move to the USA from Australia. They did a criminal background check with fingerprints. I wonder if one day this type of thing will...
