Not by plane, no. But technically, if he wanted to flee and could escape scrutiny long enough to do so, he could leave Italy by boat, train, or by car and move freely through all European Union even without his passport.
In theory, of course, since I don't know how close an eye the authorities...
A somewhat new 48 hours episode:
Unraveling the lies of Jodi Arias - 48 Hours - CBS News
Okay, so I don't know why it keeps trying to embed the video when the embedded video won't play. For some reason I can't post a simple link, it will always try to embed, but if you click on the title above...
Can someone explain this to me?
Now the Defense is saying (at least that's what it sounded like to me) because the Court does not grant our motion to mistrial, we're not going to call any witnesses.
But there were supposed to be more witnesses than just that one woman who withdrew from...
It's my birthday today, and though that's totally unrelated to this case, I really wish for the right verdict to become my birthday present.
Justice for Travis!
(And now I won't even be here to hear it because I'm going to see the new Star Trek in a few minutes, but I trust that I'll be able...
Respectfully snipped for space.
Lol, my first thought when reading that post was "Neil Patrick Harris is cooking her dinner? Wow, I don't know how she managed that, but that's awesome!"
It only shows that it's late and I should probably go to bed. :floorlaugh:
And Juan gets the stolen ring in. I think that wasn't mentioned during testimony at any point, though I might have missed it. Great that the jury hears about it now. :D
Well, it would make sense. Whoever he is, I'm glad so many people turned up today to support the family. As great as JM is in what he's doing, it has to be horrible to be led through a condensed version of the horror Travis went through, especially since they have to know that once the Defence...
I was wondering as the camera just panned over the gallery, who is the man sitting between Samantha and Tanisha? I don't think I have seen him during the trial before. Just curious, because he's sitting right there with the siblings.
I don't know how commong this is, seeing that this is the first trial I really follow, but Juan Martinez has my absolute admiration for not using any kind of notes during his closing argument.
I haven't seen either of the opening arguments, but what with all the clinging to the podium and the...
Huh, for some reason I thought the Defence would hold their closing arguments first. But all the better, I wouldn't have been able to watch him tomorrow if it had taken that long.
You go Juan, get justice for Travis. You've got this!
At least she stopped mimicking Nurmi while reading and no longer peers over her glasses while she has them on.
No glasses at all today, though she wore them all the time during this trial.
I really hope she's learning at least one feeling today, and that is that of being horribly afraid...
Lol, my stream is at least five minutes behind all you guys here, I was so completely confused to read all of you writing about Juan being up when I still saw JW asking the same question over and over and over again.
But now I finally got my dose of Juan as well!
So his opinion on whether or not Dr. D was qualified in her expert opinion is based solely on what the Defence team has told him about her testimony.
Bet JW didn't tell him about the part where Dr. DeMarte said "those scales can't be just read and interpreted that way" and JW replied "well...
Because the amount of gas she purchased can be tracked through those receipts, and (IIRC), it was enough to fill up her car as well as all three gas cans. That would prove that Jodi lied about returning that third gas can, and it does suggest strongly that there was premeditation at work...
In my mind, I read that post with a fake-Romanian Dracula accent. I'm sorry for the loss of your key, Becky, but thank you for providing me with a much needed laugh tonight.
:floorlaugh:
Okay, JW - what you think dominance means doesn't mean is the same as the MMPI means. Even I have understood that.
And why on earth are we still talking about scales that by expert opinion are not to be interpreted?
