ID - 4 Univ of Idaho Students Murdered - Bryan Kohberger Arrested - Moscow # 55

That's been my assumption, based on their being found on the same bed -- that KG had been in her own room but heard MM being attacked, went to investigate, and was attacked herself, although the probable cause affidavit doesn't give sufficient detail to know either way. In my mind, either MM...

He may not have realized he was spotted by one of the roommates. (If the house was quite dark at 4am, someone peeking out from a darkened bedroom might not be easily visible, especially if the victims' bedrooms were better lit, meaning the killer's eyes might not have adjusted to the darkened...

ID - 4 Univ of Idaho Students Murdered - Bryan Kohberger Arrested - Moscow # 52

I'm sure everyone's read the affidavit by now (or is planning to), but the description of the techniques used to identify and track the suspect's vehicle through various cameras is absolutely fascinating to me. The amount of manpower and detective work that must have gone into obtaining and...

The young women he killed were all exceptionally attractive. I can't help but wonder if incel-style resentment wasn't part of the reason he targeted them. MOO.

I'm not sure she even realized at the time that there was reason for alarm: there's no suggestion that she saw blood, or a weapon. If you're living in a house with a number of other students, who entertain friends (and take food deliveries) at all hours, it might not be that unusual to hear...

Found Deceased IN - Abby & Libby - The Delphi Murders - Richard Allen Arrested - #159

Per Google, no, they do not. So seeing a vehicle backed in somewhere, in a way that seems calculated to obscure the plate, might stand out to Indiana residents/witnesses in a way it doesn't to those of us in "2 plate" states.

Found Deceased IN - Abby & Libby - The Delphi Murders - Richard Allen Arrested - #159

Apologies if someone else has mentioned it already, but I keep thinking of that quote from Stephen King's novel and film The Green Mile. John Coffey says of "Wild Bill," the man who murdered two sisters, "He killed them with their love," referring to the fact that Bill had threatened the girls...

Found Deceased IN - Abby & Libby - The Delphi Murders - Richard Allen Arrested - #158

For what it's worth, this site offers a brief discussion of the ways that ejection (or "ejector") marks (as well as breech marks and firing pin impressions), are made, and how they can potentially be used to identify a weapon. https://www.firearmsid.com/A_CCIDImpres.htm

Found Deceased IN - Abby & Libby - The Delphi Murders - Richard Allen Arrested - #158

Then I guess I'll have to leave with you. ;) I've thought from the beginning, based on what little we knew -- that the girls' bodies had been staged in a very specific and presumably unusual way (based on LE's statement to the killer early on that they were "not how you left them") and that...

Found Deceased IN - Abby & Libby - The Delphi Murders - Richard Allen Arrested - #158

Sorry, I made an assumption I shouldn't have. I live in a state where registration is required for handguns. Indiana apparently does not have such laws.

Found Deceased IN - Abby & Libby - The Delphi Murders - Richard Allen Arrested - #158

(Sorry if someone else already said this and I missed it), but I agree -- and I think it's the reason LE has been silent about the bullet all this time. I think they believed (correctly) that the killer either wasn't aware he had left it behind, or wasn't aware that ejection marks could be used...

Verdict is IN- GUILTY OF FIRST DEGREE MURDER

I had to listen to the verdict on the radio, as I was in the car and am just catching up with you all now. I am so grateful to the jury, who took their job so seriously and performed it with patience, dignity and resolve. I am grateful for the display of grace and class I've seen in Travis...

It's absolutely not allowed. I think somebody "mis-tweeted" something. :) I'm guessing he just came in a door from a back hallway that is the same door where the jurors enter and exit, or something like that.

The juror room? Something is amiss there. He wouldn't be in there with the jury. Either the jury is NOT in that room right now, or somebody misspoke. Attorneys do not have any contact whatsoever with a deliberating jury.

What do we know that the jury doesn't?

Also (unless it was in the original post and I missed it) -- JA's attempt at witness tampering via the "secret code" in the magazines.

I had this terrible dream last night that the jury had asked for the entire testimony of Alice LaViolette to be read back! Took me a few minutes to recover my senses after I awoke. ;) On a more serious note, I think the more time that goes by, the more I am convinced we're not likely to see a...
