I don’t know if the LV ever made such a claim. In any event, that scenario is not even close to a man on his private property with a trespasser on site.
I am really troubled by the sheriff’s and the lead detective’s shenanigans and changing Daniel’s statements in order to fit their version of the evidence.
I suspect that Mr Kelly did accidentally shoot Gabriel, but there is some reasonable doubt in my mind. I wonder of the investigation...
AJ testified he pushed NM down back into the water in an attempt to keep him down in the water. He downplayed and said NM would have been able to keep his head above water. MOO
The inertia puller sealed the deal for me. She was very careless/ cavalier, etc about her job responsibilities which created an environment where live rounds could easily escape detection. Now add an inertia puller to the scene which can manipulate rounds……guilty. MOO
She requested reimbursement for the inertia puller, so I don’t think it came from another set.
Interesting thought on her altering dummy rounds to resemble spent casings. I will have to revisit testimony to see if spent ammunition was part of the props inventory. I would think that would...
I believe HGR either inadvertently brought the live rounds on set or she herself was “tampering” with the rounds somehow with the inertia puller. Why on earth would she need an inertia puller? That to me is baffling. MOO
IIRC, law enforcement had a hard time too discerning live rounds from some of the dummy rounds because there were some dummy rounds that didn’t “shake”. They had to send at least one of them off to a lab to determine live vs dummy. MOO
The weapons expert with the curly hair (Cajun?) sealed it for me in regards to AB. He specifically said dummies are “spooky” because they are made to look real. Also, wasn’t there testimony about a dummy Denix round being found on set? And those don’t rattle. IMO, even if AB had checked the...
The safety checks/armorer is needed for safe use of blanks, quarter loads, half loads etc. SAG specifically states that live rounds should never be on set. I did read about the exceptions in the event live rounds are required. However, the set of Rust, actors, insurance providers, etc were...
I heard DH say that too! He said the gun was empty in the morning, then (for some unknown reason to me) HG loaded it with dummy rounds. I wonder who told her to load it.
I was listening to AB’s police interview and I think he said a cold gun refers to both empty and dummy rounds because the dummy rounds don’t do anything, they are just cosmetic.
I was shocked when Bonita asked Timmers if Maya was (paraphrasing) hurt in any way by the subliminal messages, as if to imply no harm no foul. Ugh. That woman!
Also, I was very saddened to hear Maya talk about the law firm she had chosen and it was important to her that they treat Larry with...
Was it confirmed she was having an affair? The defense lawyer asked a lot of questions about an affair, even mentioned there was an investigation into the affair? Thanks!
