In due time, wfg. Watch some football and take your mind off the Jamisons for a little bit. But, don't go too far!!! We need you close by.

I wonder if either of the skulls had teeth in them?

Good question. Can't tell in the pic of Muskogee Storage Unit Woman skull.

Football's a ways off, what with this here time change thing. Instead, I'll just look for more oddball Okie articles in the Sunday paper....

Anticipated skeleton museum opens in Oklahoma City

NORMAN, Okla. — For Jay Villemarette, a fascination with skeletons began in 1972, when he found a dog skull in the woods.

Do they have teeth in Oklahoma? Sorry, couldn't help myself (and no offense to any of you with teeth who live in OK! But geesh, this case is mind boggling)>

Simple answer: No.
More complex answer: the per capita of teeth in Oklahoma is roughly 4.07 per household.

Ok folks, so I'm back for a few here with some further info (I know ya'll are all rubbing your hands in anticipation, and since I don't know what football is I figured now was a good time.)

The search warrant on the truck, dated 11/1/2009 for investigation 10/17/09.

What was collected from the vehicle (please note this is the actual paper work- so fact. Everything else possibly collected or in the vehicle at the time is conjecture. Or, ya know. Something else.

-Latent finger and palm prints
-One girls pink hooded sweatshirt, size 7/8 with 'Madyson' written on tag
-One long sleeve maroon t-shirt, Eskimo Joe's, Size XL
-Two girl's boots
-SDA Certificate "Bobby Dale Jamison"
-Numerous papers with stains
-One roll of film
-Paint cans.

Date reported: 11/1/2009 "Suspicious disappearance."

So..................thoughts? hmmm?????? Anyone not currently watching football or finding skulls in their yard?

And since we seem to be on bones in OK in general, another minor note that I can't seem to find a followup on. This is out of the Latimer County Sheriffs Dept: Anyone feel like hunting down the results on those bones?

Mr. Dwyer,

Enclosed in this package are bones that were recovered in the area that the missing Jamison family was last seen and there truck was recovered. There are two bags labeled north ½ and south ½ bones. The bones were found with search dogs and we are requesting an examination to find out if they are human or not. We were told to send them to you and that Dr Snow would be able to identify them. Thank you for your assistance. >

Eskimo Joe's is an overhyped bar in Stillwater which features a racist stereotype as its logo.

What's a SDA certificate?

They didn't book the chips into evidence??

I did find a dog's skull beside the rental here in a small bush when I moved in.

I do know that Tim Dwyer is the M.E.'s chief investigator.

Interesting NY Times article about Dr. Snow here. I guess it's the same Doc Snow, unless maybe a son took over the bone investigatin' for M.E.'s office.

The name of the street: the word "stonewall." Hmmmm.....

Lovely on the Eskimo Joes.
I believe an SDA certificate is Okie for a conceal/carry permit; however I suppose it could also mean any number of other things.
No chips in evidence. No dog in evidence. Nothing else on the search warrant except what is listed above. Granted- that does not mean nothing else was in the truck. Just what the judge granted the search warrant for.

Was Bobbles alarmed by the dog skull? I am hoping you did not hang it on your porch as a windchime, wfgdot, because if that is the case I am changing my opinion of you entirely.

Yep, that is what it is. So Bobby may have been legally packing heat when he disappeared. Hmmmmmm......

If anything else appeared to be of interest - say, THE $32,000 - would that have appeared on, um, some other warrant? Or did the judge just rule "finders keepers" on that??

I do still have the dog skull. Windchimes - wow, that's an idea! lol

One would have thought the $32,000 would be on that warrant but I suppose there were just dozens of others executed during that time frame and I just can't find them. Right? RIGHT????

Well, this is Oklahoma (long pause for effect) and one never knows.

Bobbles wasn't troubled by the dog skull. He was four months old and had no idea what was going on with it, or me, or, well, anything at that time, really.

In all seriousness....the search warrant was executed on the 29th at the location where it had been transported by the OSBI (who executed the warrant, and was...apparently perhaps the OSBI's staging area for evidence collection...or something?) What happened between when the truck was found and the warrant was executed for those specific items?

ETA: wfgodot, I am afraid someone may have failed Bobbles in his youth. At four months old, well- lets just say he should have known, maybe, at the very least....who you are? I refer again to flea markets in OK and shudder.

I'm still pondering the various terms above: "suspend the incident but not the search," "overall political climate," uh, "quadrants," lol.

Well, they did take a picture of a rather handsome lot of $100 bills. After that? Off to the Indian casinos??

Bobbles at that time enjoyed staring up close into each of my eyeballs to see what was in there and if it was really me. He still does.

I'm half watching football and half searching the web for anything "Jamisons".

So the articles listed above are articles LE kept?

Also, this is the first I've heard about any bones being found during the Jamisons search effort. Now I'm curious if they were human.

I know one thing, Oklahomans sure know how to keep their mouths shut!!

Same here, wfg, on the "incident" report. It might mean something happened during the search (like finding the bones). It might mean an incident with the Jamisons before the truck was found.

I don't know. It's all so strange.

The cash, truck and all other remaining items not on search warrant were allegedly released into the custody of Bobby Jr's mother. That's all I'm gonna say about that, except that I did check the serial #'s on the pic of the money. Make of it what you will.

Personally, I'd be pissed if I decided to take off and leave a bunch of my stuff in my own vehicle on property that I had property owners consent to be on, and then return at some point to find it all...gone with no one seeming to be able to account for where it went. Especially if I was, ya know, paying taxes to those people who couldn't account for where my stuff was. But maybe that's just me.

ETA: wfgodot. Please put Bobbles in pork skin detox immediately. For a minimum of 90 days.

little- yes. The search warrant, the letters, etc. They were kept by LE. The SAR/quadrant area records were kept by SAR (LE and 'local citizens')and turned over to LE.

Oklahomians know how to open their mouths too. They just need the right currency.

And how would they know the bones weren't the Jamisons. No one really knows how long the Jamisons had been missing for. Except the neighbor on the mountain. Which, I'm still not sure about his story.

There was also how many days from the last time the truck was seen, until someone reported it.

I'm just saying, someone could have taken the Jamisons and did something horrible to them, then tried to hide the bones.

Bobbles hasn't touched anything harder than a cheese roll in a week.

SO - the money not listed on at least one warrant: uh, they gave that money back as, well, having a butt-load of money under the driver's seat does not seem - um - SUSPICIOUS, and that it might, MIGHT, be a possible CLUE to what happened to the occupants of the vehicle, and thus needed as evidence in court some day?? God help me.
