LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Police are looking for a Louisville woman who hasn't been seen since last Friday and they believe a man arrested Monday night may have something to do with her disappearance. Family members say 50-year-old Diane Tanselle has been missing since April 2.

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The search continues for 50-year-old Diane Tanselle. It has been five days since the family of missing Louisville woman last saw her. There has been no trace of Tanselle's whereabouts, but police believe they have found her cell phone while conducting a search at her business partner's home.
......................
According to the ISP report, investigators believe they found Tanselle's cell phone in Kessinger's back yard. The Indiana court papers said the LMPD search of Kessinger's home not only found that phone, but "a large amount of suspected blood" inside Kessinger's home. Additional information listed in the report states that investigators found bath towels, rubber gloves, large zip lock bags, a roll of duct tape, personal clothes, and a briefcase in Kessinger's car and says officers found a receipt in Kessinger's pocket for the duct tape and a tarp. The court documents reveal the items were purchased from a home improvement store on April 4.

Louisville Metro Police tell us they suspect foul play in Tanselle's disappearance, but currently Kessinger is not facing charges related to that. He is being held in the Clark County Jail on a $100,000 bond.

Prayers for Diane and her family.

Thank goodness they have her murderer...let's hope no one bails this nasty soul out of jail.

Thank goodness they found her. I feel so sorry for her daughter. We know the guy she was dating, and are so sorry for the whole family. This happened within a few miles of us.

The man they arrested, is in a whole lot of trouble. They are throwing every charge they can at him just over the drugs (as they should).

I guess I had better start viewing my local news more often. This is the first time I heard of this case. I am glad they caught her killer and hope the family will be alright. This is so sad. This is one reason I don't watch the local news. It is hard enough to hear of these things in other towns but when it hits close to home it is even more rough.

The jury found Thomas Kessinger guilty Friday on three charges -- murder, tampering with physical evidence and abuse of a corpse...

Kessinger was sentenced to a total of 24 years in prison, with the eligibility for parole after 20.
