Can't find a NamUs case file or any articles about an identification...

Quoting and uploading the pics, just in case the article ever goes dark.

Investigators are seeking the identity of a body discovered on April 9, 2010 in a wooded area near Alabama Road and State Road 82 in Lehigh Acres. The body appears to be that of a white or Hispanic female, approximately 15-22 years old with black hair.
    She was wearing a:
    Gray zippered "Exist" brand sweater
Two necklaces and a bracelet. One was a Gucci-styled necklace with a clear stone pendant.
The other was a gold-colored rope necklace with a red stone pendant.

On April 9, 2010, Dawn Lofton’s body was found near the intersection of Alabama Road and State Road 82. Her death was determined to be a homicide. She was reported missing of February 17 after not being seen for few weeks. She was 37 years old.
(This made me think it just can't be our 15 - 22 year old uid. But there is the same exact date and the same exact place. And yes, Dawn had black hair)

Feb 19, 2017 - Deputies found Lofton’s body in 2010, several months after she first disappeared. Detectives continue to ask the public for help.
It all started in February 2010 when Lofton’s mother, Anne Hall, reported her missing after not hearing from her for weeks. She knew something wasn’t right.

“We knew when she didn’t call my mother for her birthday,” Hall said. “Something was really wrong because she never missed it.”

Deputies swarmed Lofton’s North Fort Myers home on Penny Drive where they found her belongings outside, while her cell phone was found in Fort Myers on the side of the road.
Deputies found Dawn’s body near Alabama Road and SR-82 in Lehigh, more than 20 miles away from her home.
Thompson is heartbroken, and the family has lost hope with no answers in the seven years since her murder.
