Jan Andre Cotta

Endangered Missing -- Missing Since: June 26, 1973

Missing From: Wall Township, New Jersey

Height: 5'4" -- Weight: 118 lbs -- Hair Color: Brown -- Eye Color: Blue

Jan has a mole near the left side of her mouth. She was last seen wearing blue Land Lubbers jeans, a white shirt with a blue design on it, brown loafers, and she was carrying a round tweed purse. Jan may go by the alias name Jane Andrea Cotta.

Cops say their interest in the mysterious disappearance of a 19-year-old Wall Township, N.J. girl has not waned over the past 35 years.

Instead, Det. Joseph Wilbert and private investigator Glenn Kenny are more determined than ever to crack this missing person's case.

Cops say that on June 26, 1973 between 11:30 p.m. and midnight, Jan was last seen leaving the family farm with a friend.

Cops say that was the last time anyone saw Jan. She didn't contact her family or friends -- she simply seemed to disappear off the face of the earth.

When Jan didn't return the next day, her mother Dorothy reported her missing to police.

In the course of their investigation, police learned that they not only had a missing person on their hands, but an expectant mother.

According to police, Jan was between six and seven months pregnant at the time of her disappearance. Neither Jan's family, friends or police were able to determine who the father was, or if he might have had anything to do with the young woman's disappearance.
