Early Saturday morning, a motorist found the body of a young woman on the Interstate 85 north exit ramp to Dewitt, near mile marker 48. The body had multiple gunshot wounds. Capt. William Knott said the body had probably not been run over by a car.
Since then, authorities have tried to identify the victim.
"She carried no ID, so we are hoping for clues from citizens," Knott said.
The African-American woman was 18-25 years old and found wearing a red nylon Apple Bottoms flight jacket. She had a tattoo of a scorpion on her right calf and the initials "ADA" circled with four stars on her right shoulder.

Edited: I think she was found 3/19 not 3/20.
