CLEVELAND, Ohio -- A 26-year-old East Side man will be sentenced this week to life in prison for repeatedly raping a boy.

The boy had finished seventh grade and went to a church camp in June 2006, where he was encouraged not to keep secrets.

When he got home from the camp, he disclosed that he had been sexually assaulted in his early elementary school years, continuing over a three- or four-year period, prosecutor's spokesman Ryan Miday said.

The victim said he had been raped at Terrell West's East 187th Street home.

A jury found West guilty April 22.

He faces a mandatory sentence of life in prison.
