JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A 24-year-old man was arrested by U.S. marshals in Puerto Rico in connection with the February 2009 killing of another man at Club Aqua in Jacksonville.

Omar Santiago is charged with murder in the death of 26-year-old Juan Justo at the club in the 11000 block of Beach Boulevard.

Omar Santiago, 28, was convicted Friday in the 2009 shooting death of 26-year-old Jean Justo. Santiago was found guilty of first-degree murder and solicitation to commit murder...

In 2011, while in the Duval County jail, Santiago tried to hire a hit man to murder the eyewitness in the case.

Omar Santiago, 28, was sentenced Tuesday to life in prison for the First Degree Murder of 26-year-old Jean Justo. Santiago was also sentenced to 30 years in prison for Solicitation to Commit First Degree Murder. The sentences run consecutively.
