TN TN - Scott Ruckholdt, 48, Columbia, 16 May 2010

COLUMBIA, Tenn. – Columbia Police have asked for the public assistance to help locate a missing man.

48-year-old Scott Ruckholdt was last seen around 9:00 p.m. on May 16 walking away from a family member's house on Granada Drive.

Ruckholdt is described as 5 foot 8 inches, weighing between 170-180 pounds.

Police are searching for a 48-year-old man who is believed to have vanished from his home two weeks ago.

Scott Ruckholdt was last seen May 16 walking away from his home on Granada Drive, Columbia Police Det. Marc Craig said.

Columbia Police are asking for the public's help as the department continues to look for a man who's been missing nearly three weeks.

"We're looking at this as a possible homicide," Columbia Police Patrolman Scott Knudson said Wednesday. "There's nothing that says foul play, but it is very suspicious."

Still, Knudson said Ruckholdt has "substance abuse problems" and there's information leading Columbia Police to believe he might have been in Marshall County, in or near Lewisburg.

Police are seeking new information in the case. More specifically, police would like to speak with Ruckoldt's twin brother, Chris Ruckoldt.
