GUILTY NH - Thomas Campo for child abuse, Plaistow, 2009

Zoya Campo, the defendant's wife, gave birth to triplets in April of 2009. LE documents indicate that the abuse of the infants began immediately, with them suffering broken bones at the hands of their father. Court documents indicate that Zoya was aware of the abuse but did nothing to stop it.

Zoya took one of the children to the hospital in Sept of 2009 for an unrelated medical concern, and the abuse was discovered-fractured skulls, broken ribs (as many as 10 for one infant) etc.

Defense attorneys sucessfully had one of Campo's statements of guilt thrown out yesterday-for the record the prosecution did NOT dispute having the statement thrown out. Campo's second statement of guilt, however, is requested to stand as a spontaneous utterance.

These stories just break my heart. All I can think is "if only I was there" but how can you be everywhere?

We need a public campaign program reminding everyone that children, especially infants, can not speak for themselves and we MUST be their voices!

Poor babies. The forum is full of these stories this morning. I hope all these horrible rot in jail!

Father of triplets gets prison term for repeated abuse

(Reuters) - A New Hampshire father of triplets pleaded guilty on Tuesday to abusing his children in attacks that began at their birth and was sentenced to 15 to 30 years behind bars.

I want to know why people always want to speak up AFTER the info comes to light! This makes me so angry. Poor babies I hope they live a wonderful life without him.
