Investigators released a reconstruction of unidentified remains found in Conway SC, in a wooded area behind the Horry County Parks and Recreation building. The man is believed to be a homicide victim.
"At the time of discovery, investigators believed the victim had been deceased anywhere from six months to five years.
"The remains were taken to the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, where investigators performed a facial reconstruction procedure on the victim's skull. The results of the procedure were turned over to police on Wednesday.
"Based on an examination of the remains, the homicide victim is believed to be a white male, approximately 30 to 50 years old and is believed to have stood 5'7" to 6'3"."
