video clip ABC news story

On July 7, something unusual happened near the Xiaoshan Airport in Hangzhou, China. An oddly shaped bright light appeared, forcing the airport to close down and delay 18 flights. Things are now back to normal, but people are wondering, what was that "thing"?
An ABC News article on the mysterious sighting explains that some who witnessed the light are calling it a UFO. But, keep in mind, a UFO doesn't necessarily mean little, green men.
There is plenty of speculation on whether or not the object was some sort of military aircraft or missile. The ABC article explains that a day following the sighting, "an anonymous source told China Daily that authorities already discovered the identity of the UFO after an investigation but could not publically disclose the information because 'there was a military connection.'"

I'm searching for video footage............90 kilzillion people in China...there has to be video footage somewhere....right?

:shocked2: That's some crazy stuff!

An unidentified flying object, or UFO, forced an airport in a major Chinese city to shut down operations for an hour, various reports said.
According to state media outlet China Daily, the incident happened at Hangzhou's Xiaoshan Airport last Wednesday, when it appeared at about 8:30 p.m. The object did not show up on radar, the report said.
The airport was closed from 8:45 p.m. to 9:41 p.m., and up to 18 flights and 2,000 passengers were affected, China Daily said.
The report said this is the first time a Chinese airport has been shut down due to an UFO sighting. Officials say they remain unsure what the object was. An unknown source told China Daily the UFO may have been military-related.

I am wondering of the China Daily is the equivalent of The SUn or The Globe?

Still can't find video

That's what I said to dh but it is going out of the atmosphere he said so I dont think it's a missle but it could be a rocket. At one point it looks like when the shuttle seperates from the boosters as it enters orbit.Wouldnt other governments know if China was sending a rocket into space?

Wonder what it is? I wish the governments throughout the world would let us know if it's truly unidentified craft or government experiment. I've never seen one, and would love to. In the one picture it seems to lead from the ground up.

China has an earthquake.

China has a UFO.

DC has an earthquake.

Anyone see where I'm going with this?

Not sure I even do, but I don't know who I'm more afraid of? Our politicians, China and their missles or a UFO? Oh yeah or a big earthquake.

Those pictures appear to be of something totally different than this video, JMO

I think they are two separate things. In the stills there is no trail following the UFO. The video appears to be a rocket while the stills are much less explainable.

China says it's military related but I think they'd say that just to keep us on guard thinking they have some new technology. JMO

It looks like it has a spotlight to the ground! Beware! Wear your jammies!

It appears those videos are of two separate incidents. The stills are of a UFO seen over China on July 7th and the video shows a UFO from June 30th.

According to the title of the above video it's a missile launch from Krygyzstan. That makes a lot of sense to me.

However the date on the video seems to be incorrect.

Second UFO seen in Chongqing
By Wang Xiang | 2010-7-15

ANOTHER unidentified flying object has been seen hovering over a park in southwestern China's Chongqing Municipality after the investigation into a UFO that shut Hangzhou's Xiaoshan Airport on July 7 failed to reach a conclusion.

All the alleged witnesses said they saw the same thing - four lantern-like objects forming a diamond shape that hovered over the city's Shaping Park for over an hour, Xinhua news agency reported today.

Pictures of the UFO were posted online. The four objects were moving as if they were one, and three had white lights but one was red, report said.

A witness surnamed Chen said it must have been a UFO and people began to notice it around 8pm yesterday...

I can't get a firm date for the above video. Some attribute it to June 30th and others July 9th. The still photos seem to be from July 7th because I can't find anything attributing them to a different date.
