And it's not like she even has custody! He lives elsewhere & visits on holidays obviously it's about HER(the mother) and not the child!

That is just majorly disturbing and gross!!

I am 100% in support of breast feeding of infants and toddlers. I'm not sure at what point the line should be drawn, but certainly long before six years old.

There's a video on Youtube of a mother who breast feeds her eight year old. This is a slippery slope. I'm sure it's very comforting for both mother and child. But, what is the magic age breast feeding should stop? It's important to learn other methods of comfort and soothing one self.
