A
truck belonging to a man who was reported missing was found July 12, but law enforcement officials still have not located its owner.
Kevin Dwayne Hardy, 43, of Central went missing June 17. The reporting party said Hardy left work despondent that day, and he hasn't been seen or heard from since, according to Graham County Sheriff P.J. Allred.
On June 1, a fifth-wheel travel trailer Hardy was living in with his wife, Cindy Hardy, 52, burned down after Cindy fell asleep while smoking. Cindy was treated at the Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center for burns in her throat and was subsequently airlifted to a Maricopa hospital with a burn unit.
Kevin Dwayne Hardy, 43, of Central has been missing since June 17.
Nearly a month after Hardy went missing, an official from the Arizona Game & Fish Department found his truck among some mesquite trees along an offshoot road that branches off West Layton Road between the Central Cemetery and Cluff Ranch Road. The Game & Fish official called the County Dispatch at about 11:24 a.m. and reported the vehicle as abandoned. He said he had noticed the truck in the same spot for about a week.
