A mentally disabled 43-year-old Jersey City man who suffers from schizophrenia has been missing for a week, his mother and police said yesterday, as reported by The Jersey Journal's Ron Zeitlinger in today's editions.

Tyronne Barnes, of Wilkinson Avenue in Jersey City, left the home he shares with his mother last Monday night at 11 p.m. He was reported missing on Wednesday when he failed to return home.

He is about 5-foot-11 and 200 pounds, described by his mother. When he left home, he was wearing cutoff jeans, an oversized black T-shirt and black sneakers without laces.
