A $2,500 reward is being offered for information leading to the whereabouts of Ervin Robinson, 57, who was last seen Memorial Day weekend in Pelican Bay.

The reward is being offered by TJ Machine & Tool in Azle, the company where Robinson has worked for the past 10 years. Robinson's boss, Michael Wright, filed a missing person's report on June 16 after Robinson failed to show up for work for two weeks straight.

Pelican Bay Police Chief Gilbert Towns has said that the last time anyone can verify Robinson's whereabouts is May 28, when he was seen at a local bar and at his house in Pelican Bay. He said Robinson's wife told investigators he left on Memorial Day with a woman, but officials question why he left without money, personal belongings, his vehicle or motorcycle.

Robinson's sister, Sheila Downing, said she appreciates everything TJ Machine & Tool is doing to help find her brother.

"You just don't find employers that care this much," she said. "I'm just so amazed at how much they are helping. It's not a great big company, but it's a company that cares about its employees."

The reward is being offered for information to a law enforcement agency that leads to confirmation about the disappearance or whereabouts of Robinson.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Pelican Bay Police Department at 817-270-4309.
