Cool Archeologists find Confederate POW camp in Savannah, Ga

"Savanah, Ga. (AP)-Preserved for nearly 150 years, perhaps by it's own obscurity, a short-lived Confederate prison camp began yielding treasures from the Civil War almost as soon as Archeologists began searching for it in southeastern Georgia."

It's nice to know there are still discoveries to be made in the world!

Christee, it is amazing they found a site undisturbed. It will be interesting to see what artifacts are uncovered.

Hi there.... I guess it was reported in the Savannah news, but it is actually near Millen GA, about 25 miles from my hometown. There's alot of hubbub locally about it (from what I hear - I'm 600 miles away...).
