An odd piece of information has turned up which seems to be absent from all other sources. At http://ltglaw.net/attorney-profiles-gates.html, which is the profile page of a lawyer in Sacramento, there is the sentence; " He has also successfully defended USAA in bad faith cases at trial and through appeal, including the much publicized case of Moralez v. USAA, which involved the disappearance and likely murder of his key witness, Doris Inzunza, a USAA employee and member of a Sacramento organization protecting women from stalkers. The CBS news program “48 Hours” extensively covered the case." This seems to bring a new dimension to the case. Oddly, although the case is Moralez v USAA, and Moralez is the name of her ex-husband, Doris seems to have been lined up as a witness for USAA, for whom she worked as a claims handler.

This definitely makes the ex of even more interest to me but no further information seems available (despite the reference to 48 Hours and the case title). Can anyone add anything else on this new line of interest?
