An odd piece of information has turned up which seems to be absent from all other sources. At http://ltglaw.net/attorney-profiles-gates.html, which is the profile page of a lawyer in Sacramento, there is the sentence; " He has also successfully defended USAA in bad faith cases at trial and through appeal, including the much publicized case of Moralez v. USAA, which involved the disappearance and likely murder of his key witness, Doris Inzunza, a USAA employee and member of a Sacramento organization protecting women from stalkers. The CBS news program “48 Hours” extensively covered the case." This seems to bring a new dimension to the case. Oddly, although the case is Moralez v USAA, and Moralez is the name of her ex-husband, Doris seems to have been lined up as a witness for USAA, for whom she worked as a claims handler.

This definitely makes the ex of even more interest to me but no further information seems available (despite the reference to 48 Hours and the case title). Can anyone add anything else on this new line of interest?

Where is May Court in Rancho Cordova? I only see one in Folsom

VERY interesting piece of information. I should have come here before researching. I was going to post a possible Doe match that I knew would seem a little far reaching, but after reading your post, it doesn’t seem impossible at all!

Distinguishing Marks/Features: The victim had saline breast implants, Mentor Smooth Round Moderate Style 1600, manufactured in 1998. Implants are generally used in the year they are manufactured. The particular procedure that the victim received is considered uncommon, as the surgery was sub-glandular, meaning it was inserted below the pectoral muscle but above the mammary gland. Such procedure is considered less painful and heals faster, yet most surgeons prefer other methods. Nose and right wrist may have been fractured at some point in her life.

It was not the first time Wood had come back to this acre of woods in the middle of an industrial park in south Sarasota. The victim was located in a wooded, vacant lot, between Ashton Court and Sarah Avenue in south Sarasota, Florida on February 6, 2007. A 14 year-old boy discovered a bone protruding from the dirt and notified his mother, a nurse, who identified the bone as human. Police later unearthed the rest of the woman's body, lying on its side, from the ground, apparently being buried in a three-foot grave months before. No suspicious events were witnessed near the scene at the time of the woman's death. believe that her killer must have been familiar with the deserted thicket of woods -- and must have known that it would have concealed the body for many months.
Dentals: Available, Moderate periodontal disease and multiple metallic alloy dental fillings.

The age fits, hair matches, the implants of the UID are said to have been manufactured in 1998 (a year after Doris allegedly disappeared) and are usually used during the year of manufacture. A few months is close enough and the circumstances appear to allow for a little wiggle room when it comes to dates. The height and weight are off, 4-6 inches and 20 pounds...and of course 10 years. The 10 years would account for the discrepancies in height and weight (somewhat). IMO. I did a public search for names of males listed as “persons of interest” in Doris’ case...ironically the main one has a Florida address listed as a known place of residency. During the time the unidentified was discovered. And 1-1.5 hours diving distance away from the residence.

I think it’s a possibility!

I came here thinking the exact same thing.

Did you ever submit? If you did, I wonder why it has not either been solved or ruled out? I have seen other more recent suggestions for this jane doe and they got ruled out.

I wonder what this means for Doris?

Sorry for the very late response. :D

This was not a match.

I think it's more than clear that she was murdered many years ago, she had several people against her and it wouldn't be difficult for a hit man to find her and make her disappear...
rest in peace
