I guess I'm just confused.
If Lisa was given Xanax by a reputable doctor:
*why?-she's an addict, the last thing you do is prescribe something with the potential to be addicting.
*how?-she has no job, no minor children in her care so she doesn't have the funds to pay for a medication out of pocket and she doesn't qualify for medicaid by Florida state regulations.
What I want to know:
*who paid for her medication?
*why did they pay for her medication?
The reason I feel like this information is important is because BNN alluded to the fact that a "journalist" helped Lisa. Did this supposed "journalist" do so because he knew it would produce a story? I'm sure this "journalist" expected Lisa to OD, therefor creating an even larger story: Croslin Mother Died From Overdose!
Or: Croslin Mother Arrested For Selling Own Prescription!
Does everyone see where I'm going with this?
Also, Xanax is a Benzodiazapine, which is detected in urine tests. However, the amount is not. In order for that to be done, the urine would have to be sent out and analyzed and/or blood taken and analyzed. I'm sure the hospital did a basic test, especially if she admitted to having the Xanax in her system. But, measuring the amount is not something that is commonly done, especially for someone with no insurance and because she admitted she was taking it.
According to BNN she was given 90 pills and only 17 were left in the bottle. If this person did, in fact, steal her medication, was this person arrested for theft? Was this person arrested for assault? Why was Lisa kicked out of the shelter if she was the victim?
IMO, this "journalist" knew how to get Lisa trapped to produce a story. I feel bad for Lisa. Her kids are in jail, her one son refuses to return to FL, she's probably stuck here, and the one person who has taken care of her (Hank) is locked up, too. She's probably very trusting of certain people because they "helped" her in the past and she felt like she could rely on them again.
As far as BNN, I'm not surprised at their "reporting". It's basically a bunch of people who volunteer their time to write these articles. They need to fluff it up so people think that the truth is actually being reported. It's a gossip rag much like The Enquirer or News Of The World. Sometimes I half expect to see "Large Green Alien Lands in Missouri, Takes Town Hostage With Jesus!"....I'm just sayin'.
I am, however, a bit disappointed that TJ Hart would align himself with such an outlandish news website. He works for a real news station, so why taint his reputation with these people? I don't have the answer, it's a rhetorical question, really.
I am very much looking forward to a police report about what happened to Lisa. I would like to separate fact from fiction, especially because I'm tired of the BS with the lackadaisical reporting of facts....not pointing the finger at Levi, but just saying in general.
Whatever happened to journalistic integrity? How can these "journalists" sleep at night knowing that they completely fabricated a story that could potentially ruin someone?
