The parents of Kyron Horman, the missing 7-year-old Skyline student, will hold a press event Friday starting at 11 a.m.

Kaine Horman and Desiree Young will speak about the boy’s upcoming birthday as well as latest developments in the case.

Individual interviews with local and national media members will be conducted. This is expected to take several hours.

Kyron Horman's biological parents said they will meet with members of local and national media Friday to discuss their missing son.

Kaine Horman and Desiree Young said they will discuss updates in the case, Kyron's birthday and an upcoming fundraiser.

The mother of 7-year-old Kyron Horman accused the missing boy's stepmother Friday morning of kidnapping the child and called on her to confess to investigators during an emotional press conference in Beaverton.

Desiree Young said she believes Terri Horman conspired with another, unknown person to abduct the boy, who has not been seen since June 4.

"Obviously, she's angry. Whatever she's angry about, we don't know that for sure. Anger is a motivator for people," Young said.

The boy's parents said they didn't know of any new investigative developments, but said they were aware of a grand jury meeting in the case.

On Thursday, Kaine Horman said the Wall of Hope, a sprawling collection of gifts and notes for Kyron, will be moved Sunday from its current location outside Skyline School.

The boy's father said they've found a location, but wouldn't give details until "they get confirmation on it."

Teri Moulton Horman appreared at a court hearing on her and Kaine's divorce proceedings Wednesday. A judge determined she must reveal her attorney funding sources in a hearing set for the divorce on October 7.

Kaine said he wanted to speak out to "have something positive out there" in keeping the focus on Kyron.

The two declined to comment on any details from law enforcement.

"I feel like we're back in the first days of the investigation," Kaine said.

Since then, Kaine Horman and Young have repeatedly accused the stepmother of not telling detectives everything she knows about the disappearance.

The parents were asked Friday if they would hold a press conference to publicly apologize to Terri Horman if it turns out she had nothing to do with the disappearance.

"Of course, if we're wrong," Young said, adding, "We're not."

Later in the day, Desiree Young announced the new location for Kyron's Wall of Hope: the Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue station at 11646 NW Skyline Blvd.

Moving day will be Sunday, starting at 8:30 a.m.

"We would really appreciate a little help in taking the Wall down because we will be relocating the entire section of fence as a whole piece to keep the integrity of the Wall of Hope in place," wrote Young.
