NV - Paris Hilton arrested on felony cocaine charge in Vegas

I sincerely hope there will consequences for Hilton. I am sick and tired of there being two different types of justice: One set of rules for the 'haves', and another set of rules for the 'have nots'.

neither am i. she shouldn't fret, lilo served a fraction of her jail time, AND got out of rehab early too( digusted) .only reason we dont hear this headline w/ britney spears name is her daddy still has her by the reins. once he loses that =she' ll be right there along w/ them!

She is a repeat offender...but Im sure she'll skate out of this one too. Because of...oh, yes...OVERCROWDING.

You and me both, watch George Michael escape a jail sentence soon. This is not fair and Paris Hilton annoys me beyond reason but that's another thing....

I'll bet the entire thing get's tossed before court. "after police saw a cloud of what they suspected was marijuana smoke " - "saw?" I don't think pot smoke looks any different from tobacco smoke. I guess reports now are saying "smelled". Was there any pot found?

I read a police motorcycle officer pulled them over after seeing smoke that smelled like pot. After he pulled them over the cop found cocaine in her purse.

"Hilton was arrested on suspicion of felony cocaine possession"

"If convicted of the low-grade felony, Hilton would get probation. Any violation of probation would be punishable by one to four years in Nevada state prison."

Paris was also detained in France for possession of marijuana in July.

Kinda O/T but, I did a google search for the latest news on the Paris Cocaine arrest and I stumbled upon something interesting. If you have your Google search engine set up to Auto-fill or (auto-suggest) your search terms.. you will notice that Google has apparently blocked Paris Hilton from auto-fill. Not big fans of Paris Hilton @ Google I guess.. She's been Google-snubbed! LOL. I tested it with Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears to see if they were Google rejects too...but they pop up on the auto-suggest. Hmmm. Interesting.

Maybe it was an old purse and she didn't know it was in there. Ya know kind of like Pete Doherty when he went to Court and a bunch of packets of heroin fell out of his coat pocket. Poor choice of jacket there, Pete?

-or- it wasn't her purse even though her drivers license, cell phone, and various monogrammed mirrors were in there.

Seriously, she is playing with fire. She was detained two weeks ago in South Africa before the France incident. "Cops let Paris skate after they decided it was her friend who had the weed."

Paris is either stuck on stupid or is too arrogant to think LE may not go easy on her when she is outside the US. She may pick the wrong country one day to travel with her assortment of drugs and end up in the poky for years.

There are also youtube videos of her smoking something. She seemed concerned about how they were going to transport the drugs. She suggested grinding them up.

I vote "stuck on stupid"!

I remember her doing an interview with Larry King after she was released from jail, talking about how much she was going to do charity work. I guess she's decided to do her work on the Vegas Strip.

How old is she now? I know it's way past time for her to be all grown.

She is old enough to know better. For sure.

The 'it wasn't my purse' line will not work because she took the purse out of the car with her, and it was when she reached inside for her lip gloss that the cocaine popped out that LE saw it according to TMZ.com.

So this year alone I'm counting 3 arrests for drug possession yes? And didn't she tell Larry King she had never tried drugs specifically cocaine? Agree that this will be another slap on the wrist however.

Paris Hilton- "It Wasn't My Purse"

*sigh* Do you know how many people play the "oh, it wasn't mine!..." card when they get caught??

Hahaha! I was just going to post I bet she will say it was her friend's purse and she did not know what was in it.

Oldest excuse in the book. How about, "It was my cousin's pants, I just got up and put them on, did not check the pockets." Lol, I could make a long list of it is not mine. I am sure sometimes that may be true, but not this time.

If it was her drugs. I hope they get her into rehab someway. She's had quite a few runins for drugs IIRC (I'm sorry, my memory is foggy on Paris because I don't keep up with her).

If this were my child, and there were multiple problems with drugs in their life's I would be begging, pleading with them to get help.

Because if this goes on, it's always possible she could lose her life to drugs. :(

I consider her a parasite who steals oxygen from the rest of us.

Yeah, I too saw that joke of an interview! She said she passed time behind bars "reading my Bible," at which point Larry brightened and said, "Oh yeah? What's your favorite passage?" Poor Paris. She looked C-O-M-P-L-E-T-E-L-Y stricken!
She looked blankly at Mr. King, and muttered, "Uhhh...well... I don't really have a favorite part..." Yeah, she's never come across as dangerously bright. Does not need to kill any more brain cells, imo! :twocents:
